Do not hire this company to manage your property, and think very carefully before buying into any…read morecommunity managed by RJ Community Management. Seven years ago, I would have given this company five stars and strongly recommended them. Since then, the quality of service has declined dramatically, and dealing with them has become a constant source of frustration. Based on other reviews, I would not be surprised if the owner responds by claiming they cannot identify me, but I do live in Seven Fields, PA and deal with them directly as the management company for my townhouse. Communication is consistently poor, especially from Kelly Ligon. Responses, if they come at all, take days. I currently have a work order for my deck that has gone three weeks without any action. I have sent multiple follow up emails simply asking for an update, and those inquiries have been ignored. I am not expecting special treatment or to be moved to the front of the line, but completely ignoring repeated requests for a basic status update is unacceptable. A simple acknowledgment would go a long way, and they cannot even manage that. This is not an isolated issue. A previous deck repair request went unanswered for weeks, and after submitting a second request, a repair person showed up months later in the middle of winter when no work could even be done. Another work order for exterior building lights was ignored until I followed up again, and even now it has taken months to resolve something that should have been handled in a matter of weeks. Despite paying $163 per month in HOA dues, the services provided are unreliable and poorly managed. To make matters worse, I was charged a late fee while enrolled in auto pay. When I asked for an explanation, their accountant could not provide one. Although the fee was eventually credited back, I was told the matter was closed without any real explanation. That response is unacceptable. If they cannot explain a billing error, how can residents trust them to manage finances responsibly? The dismissive and arrogant tone I received when asking reasonable questions only made the situation worse. The HOA website portal is poorly designed and adds further frustration. Even ACH payments incur a fee, which is unreasonable. When I raised this concern, it was brushed off with no willingness to address it or advocate for residents. Overall, this company is unresponsive, unaccountable, and fails to perform even the most basic responsibilities it is paid to handle. What makes this especially disappointing is that they were once a reliable and professional management company. That is no longer the case. I have escalated my concerns to the HOA board and hope they seriously consider replacing RJ Community Management. Until then, residents are left dealing with ongoing neglect and a complete lack of professionalism.

After a few months of working with Bobby, my husband & I have just closed on our first house in Pittsburgh (after relocating from out of state) and this experience has been infinitely easier with Bobby in our corner. He has great recommendations, I trust his opinions and he has a network of reliable contacts to share that have so far proven to be just as amazing as he is (financials, contractors, etc). The house that we ended up purchasing was one that we visited just before the open house was ending; this house that "might work" if we saw it in person ended up being exactly what we were looking for. The house was just listed and already had 3 offers on it, so my husband called Bobby at 5p on a Sunday to ask if it might be possible to submit our best offer before the 7p deadline that day. Bobby worked with our financial contact (who was also amazing, and who he recommended) to get the offer paperwork to us immediately and because of their fast teamwork, we were able to get the house that we really wanted on such short notice! It's also worth mentioning that we went to several open houses over the past few months, and all of the hosting realtors knew who Bobby was and they all had nothing but the best things to say about him. Bobby is a true asset to the community and everything he does is with the best of intentions. Also, since home buying is (often) an emotional and stressful internal experience, it helps to work with someone who has a calming and empathetic approach to their relations. This was something I immediately noticed when I met Bobby, and for such a large and costly decision taking place (this is true for anxious people especially), this reassuring demeanor really helps you to feel supported during the entire home buying process. These are just some of the reasons that I would recommend Bobby to anyone who is looking for a realtor. He is just the best!

Scott guided us through he whole process was very patient with us and explained everything without over explaining. He helped us at every step of the way was always quick to reply and easy to contact and kept us informed. Scott also had great contacts through him he helped us pick a quality mortgage broker, home inspector and everything else we needed for the process. Scott was also extremely knowledgeable about the houses we toured and was able to point out things I never would have noticed or known to ask about. He was able to adapt as we figured out what kind of houses we were actually interested in and guide us to more like what we wanted. We toured a lot of houses and made two offers in our Journey and Scott was reassuring communicative and effective the entire way. Every weekend he would set us up to tour homes with an itinerary and a plan also including and getting us information on homes we found ourselves that we liked. Scott was a great Value as a realtor but more importantly to me he was just a very good person. I felt like i could trust him to actually have mine and my Wife's interests at heart. I never felt pressured by him and the man knew how to make us feel comfortable in the strange situation. He was easy to talk to without it ever feeling awkward or like an obligation even on our 10th or 12th house toured. He was fun to talk to while keeping us on track through all the tours and making good use of our time. He helped us weigh the pros and cons of the places we visited and helped us understand everything through his knowledge and experience. I'd highly recommend this group and Scott in particular if you are in the process of buying a house.

When my 88-year-old mother decided to sell her house in Bridgeville, PA, I began researching realtors in the greater Pittsburgh area. I quickly narrowed it down to using a larger broker and I chose Berkshire Hathaway. Kelly was very well reviewed on their site and on the internet in general, and for good reasons, it turned out. My initial contact with her was very pleasant and I could tell she was well versed in the process of selling a house and the legal aspects also. (I'm a lawyer with prior real estate experience and I know the difference.) We set up a meeting with my mother and Kelly was very flexible with her schedule. The meeting went well, and my mother (who worries about literally everything) loved her immediately. She made herself very available. She quickly answered the phone and returned phone calls promptly. She was honest and transparent about the process and gave good and helpful advice that ended up benefitting her customers, rather than just herself. Once the house was listed, she secured a serious buyer in 48 hours, and for the asking price. She connected us with quality vendors to help clear the house for showing, performing some needed repairs, and handling the escrow and closing. The paperwork was all done promptly, correctly, and competently. The whole deal was done and closed in a month. I've seen many real estate transactions, and this one went exceptionally smoothly and fairly. Plus, she's a really nice person. I honestly can't think of a single issue with her representation or with the transaction that could have been handled better. In conclusion, if you need a very high-quality real estate agent in the Pittsburgh area and surrounding communities, call Kelly Eckenrode. I would use her services again in a heartbeat if I needed to.

He went out of his way to make sure of meetings and calls for convenient for all of us. He was always available to answer questions via email text or phone which is unique most real estate agents aren't that way. We found him through word-of-mouth because someone else had absolutely loved working with them and I will have to say that I will continue to work with him on my future endeavors in real estate. He had great knowledge of his market and was very adapt at selling duplexes which is what our estate was. He worked with us on showing times and made sure he informed us of the showing before hand because the house was under construction at the beginning of our contract he made sure that no one would be walking into and untidy construction area. When it came to getting permits at for the actual sale Eric supply help supply professionals to repair downspout and made sure that he met with the inspectors so that it was one less thing I as the administrator how to do. I would highly recommend Eric.
