I've lived in a Steiner apartment for four years, and it has been the best experience I've ever had. They truly go over and beyond. The maintenance team immediately fixes any issues that may arise (they take amazing care of their properties, so there aren't really any issues to begin with!), the folks in the office really take their time answering any and all questions, and they truly care about their renters. I moved cross country for the first time in my life, and the folks in the office really made the whole process easy for me. If I could live in this apartment forever, I would. They are super nice, informative, professional, hardworking, and overall outstanding. Even my introverted cats who are scared of everyone except my wife and I LOVE the maintenance team, so that says a lot. Everyone at Steiner Realty truly deserves a raise, in my opinion. I've worked as a Leasing Agent before, so I have extremely high standards- Steiner absolutely went over and beyond my standards in every aspect. The quality of my apartment is outstanding, and I have been absolutely blown away by how amazing my time has been while living here. They keep everything super clean- they even salt the sidewalks and parking lots before any storm, big or tiny. They always answer the phones immediately when you call, and they take their time with you. If someone was in my parking spot, they would have them towed immediately for me. One of my light bulbs went out, and they came and replaced ALL of my lights, and even gave me extra bulbs. They even email you after you get maintenance done to make sure you are happy with the results. They all truly go over and beyond. I could go on and on. More people need to know how amazing Steiner is, and how amazing their properties are too.

My apartment was in an old house in the historic town of Sewickley. I knew about the condition…read morebefore moving in. The apartment was okay, but the common areas were awful. We're talking holes in flooring, loose floorboards, rickety stairs and a laundry room that wasn't cleaned in years. But i can't complain too much since I knew about it going in. My worst issues were with their property manager. He refers to his company as "we," but it's really one guy doing everything. He owns and operates 50+ properties, so I'm sure he is stressed. This comes out in his interaction with customers. He is the first landlord I've ever encountered who raises his voice at his tenants this way. He will not respond to maintenance requests. Period. No matter how large or small, it will go unanswered. The property manager claims that he tries to serve as the maintenance man. He admits there is no dedicated maintenance personnel on staff. I ended up moving out because of unsafe conditions that weren't addressed for months. Elmridge apartment are the cheapest in Sewickley for a reason. Please protect yourself!

You get use the sound of the planes because it's near the airport--a plus for some, a minus for others. It's a nice neighborhood with friends people. What stands out for me is the leasing office and maintenance staff. I lived in other places where you could never reach anyone, the office staff changed frequently, and maintenance never responded. Definitely not the case here. Beth is the best manager I've ever dealt with. Always available, helpful, and courteous. Darwin, the current maintenance man, is amazing. He actually seems to like his job and responds quickly to service requests. I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff here. Another great year at Village of Amesbury.

Leah was really helpful and kind which is rare especially when you learn about how bad other property managers are in the same area as this property. Leah was really patient with us as we tried really hard to find other girls to join our house but it always fell through with some of these girls. Leah recommended the 4 bedroom side to us and even went out of her way to show that side of the house to 2 of the girls since I was really busy with a final for a class. Leah has been nothing but kind and respectful. She wasn't up our butts about paying for the deposit and she was really understanding when we had an issue with finding people. I'm glad this company took over for the property that we found instead of the prior one due to how it feels so frat like and how the property management is changing it. I highly recommend this company if you're looking for a place and heard bad things about other property management.

I would not recommend DeSantis Property Management based on my experience…read more After my tenants moved out on October 31, I expected my property to be prepared quickly for a new tenant. Instead, I experienced months of poor communication, delays, broken commitments, and questionable billing practices. Although work orders for cleaning and winterization were created in early November, the carpets were still not cleaned months later despite multiple invoices, repeated follow-up emails, and promises that the work would be completed. I personally visited the property on multiple occasions and found a strong animal odor, large carpet stains, tires and junk left in the garage, and maintenance items that had not been addressed. Communication was consistently reactive rather than proactive. I repeatedly had to ask for updates, and many emails went unanswered. I was promised improved communication, complimentary carpet cleaning, and removal of the remaining debris, yet these commitments were either significantly delayed or never fulfilled. I also discovered a water shutoff notice on the property because the utility bill had not been addressed. I had to pay more than $400 immediately to prevent the water from being shut off. Later, I found duplicate management fees, additional cleaning charges for work that was never completed, charges for services after I had already informed the company I was terminating my management agreement, and billing discrepancies related to the water account. Perhaps the most frustrating part was that I was repeatedly asked to lower the rent because the property was not leasing, while basic maintenance and cleaning needed to attract a tenant had still not been completed. After months of frustration, I decided to sell the property instead. Throughout the process I spent an enormous amount of time following up, documenting issues, and correcting problems that should have been handled by the property management company. Every property management company will encounter challenges, but what matters is communication, accountability, and follow-through. Unfortunately, those qualities were consistently lacking throughout my experience. Based on the delays, lack of responsiveness, unfulfilled promises, and inaccurate billing, I cannot recommend DeSantis Property Management.

I once had proof that they hadn't even vacuumed an empty guest room that we have from October to New years eve. That was the last straw for me. We have a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with a completely finished basement and the new crew would be in and out in 1.5 hours. That says something. and not something good.
