It is top notch in both appearance, location, staff responsiveness and friendliness, maintenance, ground keeping, availability of parking, and amenities. The price is fair for what you get. Appearance: Always in good condition and always a little maintenance going on around the complex -- nothing that hinders one getting around but, rather, enough for you to know they're on top of keeping it in A+ condition. Location: Love, love, love that it's close enough to just about anything in Monroeville and beyond by car and within close walking distance to shops, restaurants, even the mall without feeling as though you're actually in the congestion of it all. Some close-by attractions to walk to: The Monroeville Mall, Olive Garden, TGIF, Home Goods, Goodwill, Dairy Queen. Giant Eagle is right down the road, but that stretch of road is not safe for walking. Oh, and wildlife such as deer are nearby. Staff Responsiveness: There may be new staff always coming and going since we've been here a year ago but every one of them is on top of their job and always smiling and friendly. Any repairs we've requested were done in short order. Parking: No matter time of day or night, there is parking available within close walking distance to the apartment door. Amenities: We had the 2 bedroom layout. Both bedrooms are suitable in size. In the master bedroom we had a queen bed, 2 tall dressers and another narrower tall cabinet (behind the bedroom door) and one nightstand. The walk-in closet was big enough to store a medium bookcase as well as all our clothes. There are 2 full baths, one off the master bedroom and the other with both a hall door and door into the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen is a galley-style with a full-size washer/dryer in a separate room off the kitchen. Note that you are not charged extra for the washer/dryer and they come with the apartment. Sweet! There is a patio or balcony with sliding glass doors off both the living room and the master bedroom. Plus the balcony is deep and only open on one side so feels pretty private. We were able to fit 2 chairs, a coffee-table style table, and small 2-seater bench with also an electric grill. There is a storage closet on the outside next to your patio/balcony. They also have a pool, workout room, racquetball court and basketball court, fenced dog area, and a place to wash your car yourself. They do have covered parking for an extra fee. It's a quiet community. I've never experienced any loud commotion in the parking lots and my neighbors were all quiet and polite. We had 2 cats and paid the usual pet fees associated with them. I've seen dogs so know they do accept them but don't know size/breed restrictions. I really liked our stay here and would still be living here had it not been for us purchasing a townhome so all our toys would fit under one roof. Tip: Checkout Rent.com before you go to look at the place. At the time we rented, there was an option to sign up and receive back money via a gift card if you tell the leasing office you heard about them via Rent.com.

I call and the person in charge arrives almost immediately. They even stayed at my apartment when the internet and IKEA showed up for deliveries while I was as work. Personally, this group has made me feel at home in a new city where I essentially know no one.

It doesn't cool our litte one bedroom near enough because if left on high cool with their recommended setting at 6-7, the unit itself ices over. The laundry rooms are $1.50 for washer and 1.50 for dryer. However, it takes me 2 dryer cycles to get my clothes dry. Yes, I've tried different dryers, I've tried less clothes. But the default 45 mins to dry just isn't enough. So boo at having to spend 3 bucks to dry each time. Other then that, we are still very happy tenants!

No one bothers to put the garbage in the actual dumpster so there are raccoons and other pests everywhere in the parking lot. People smoke marijuana in the parking lot at night. you can hear everything through the walls, and even worse through the ceilings. There are NO SECURITY CAMERAS. Packages get stolen every day and you are not allowed to have packages sent to the rental office anymore. They will do nothing about your stolen packages, nor will they let you out of your lease after all of these issues. I chose this place because my mom used to live here, but clearly, it has gone down hill.

People sit in the lobby like it's their own living room, in their socks laid out on the couch. It is also constantly loud all night on some floors. People let their dogs bark all day. Only 1 washer and dryer shared between like 14 units per floor and the dryer on my floor has been broken since I moved in. It took me up to 4 hours to just wash ONE load because it NEVER dried. I've complained but it's our job to call the company, who always says there's no issue. I moved there in 2018 and was not able to get a single upgrade no matter how raggedy my place got. I complained about my cupboards being chipped and my shelf bowing and was always told "they don't do anything till you move, but we can repaint." The tour was rushed, and the guide seemed irritated that he had to show the gym to me. After I began a lease to live there, I soon realized that THIS GYM IS GROSS. There is CARPET between the pool / hot tub and the locker rooms. GROSS. I have my concerns about the sterility of the hot tub. I would NOT go in that hot tub. The gym does not get cleaned, there are dangerous frayed cables on machines that scratch the skin, and could transmit infection. I communicated my issues to the gym management, a man named, I believe, Munz Abdullah, or Abdullah Munz. Maybe his hands were tied, but none of the issues were ever addressed. I give the apartments a 4 star rating, I give the associated gym a 1 star rating.

They care nothing about the residents. Our first month in there, we begged them to fix our garage. It wouldn't open unless you fought very hard with it. They waited 2 weeks to finally send someone over to "fix" it and then they didn't even fix what actually needed to be fixed! Nope! Instead, I went to leave the next day and tried to open it, only to realize that the maintenance men did literally nothing with what needed to be done and I had to try to force it open again......AT 28 WEEKS PREGNANT! I finally got so annoyed that I called and screamed at them because why should I, an extremely pregnant woman, be having to put myself and my baby in danger doing something that should have already been fixed?! They finally spent the money and took the time and effort to do it right....after they realized that they could be sued if anything happened to me while trying to force the door open. They made us clean the previous person's stuff out of the storage unit that we were going to be using....as if that was our job and not the maintenance that we paid for in our rent. Again, I called several times begging them to do it (since it's obviously not our job) and they refused. Another thing they are thought was our job was to salt the sidewalks during snow. They would salt one time maximum and then the upkeep was up to the residents. Attached is a picture of the bag of salt they left in the front of each building. Also attached is their attempt (or lack thereof) of shoveling, leaving piles of snow at the corners of the walkways, so the only way to get to the garages was to be forced to walk in the street, which was never salted. Also don't bother paying the extra money to even rent the garages. They are all manual locks, meaning that you have to park your car outside the garage, open it with repeat when your getting in your car. Twice a day every day. In order to avoid all the steps, no one closes or locks their garages, for forget about leaving any storage in there. Plus they are all double garages, something that Rachel failed to mention to my husband and I when we expressed interest in the garage....very sneaky tactic. Briana and Rachel have let their "power" of being apartment managers get to their heads and the apartments and resident have suffered because of it. This place and any other place that they oversee isn't worth a penny, since you're doing pretty much everything that you are paying maintenance for. They also tried to steal money from us the last month we were there by charging us double rent and thought that we'd just accept it and "possible get our money back if our apartment passed the inspection once we moved out". My husband didn't let them get sways with that at all! I am so happy that we bought a house and got the hall out! RENTERS BEWARE! Sneaky, cheap, control freaks! Oh yea! No emergency maintenance as they lied about in the beginning and if they need to let you know that they can't do something, they'll purposely email you RIGHT AFTER 5, when they've just closed. That is because they don't want to deal with the calls and "complaints".
