    I was very happy with the end result of my session. My hair came out looking great. Took a reasonable time. Definitely will be coming back.

When I arrived, I had my two-year-old with me in a stroller. She was calm, quiet, and watching a movie completely unbothering anyone. The salon itself was nearly empty, with only one other client present. Instead of being welcomed, I was immediately met with a very cold and judgmental attitude from the front desk. I was looked up and down, along with my stroller, and told in a very rude and inflexible manner that children were not allowed and that I would either need to leave or reschedule. As a mother, it is not always easy to find time for self-care, and I made the effort to come in for this appointment. The lack of empathy or basic courtesy was honestly shocking. There was zero attempt to accommodate, problem-solve, or even speak kindly. To make matters worse, I was charged $75 (50% of the service) simply for having to leave despite the fact that the situation could have been handled with basic human decency and flexibility. I do want to note that Desi, the hairstylist, did try to be kind while witnessing the way I was being treated, and I appreciate that. I understand this situation was not her fault. However, the overall customer service and experience are a direct reflection of the business she represents. This was the first time I've ever experienced something like this at a salon. I left feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and frankly, discriminated against for being a mother. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon especially to other moms. There are plenty of places that treat clients with respect, kindness, and understanding. This was not one of them.

She did it so quickly and efficiently I kind of doubled on how well it would turn out but I was so stupid for questioning her godliness! Her honestly and knowledge of facial framing and color tones, helps with any style to suit your individual look. She guided me to the right warm tones for my dark hair color, which was virgin hair. So to say the least I walked in a bit nervous and left with the biggest smile on my face and holding back tears of joy. I haven't felt this beautiful in a long time, and thanks to Mei-ling, she sparked that light that I much needed.

So, after having made a few bad decisions with my hair, I decided to go a different direction. For the past year I've been going here for hair treatments and haircuts. Very nice salon that offers you a beverage while you wait for your appointment in very posh comfortable seating. I met with my stylist and discussed with her what's been going on with my hair. I expressed all my concerns and hair goals and my stylist was very good helping me reach those goals and achieving the look I want. She gives me a lot of good input and feedback while working with me, and with her help, we've turned the clock somewhat with my hair so now it's as healthy as it was when I was twenty-five! Overall great experience getting my hair washed and massaged. They give you two free services (I go with chakras and scalp massage) but you can get upgrades if you choose, which I might take advantage of one day, I don't know. It has now been about 2.5 month (months!!!!), and I still feel genuinely uncomfortable wearing my hair down. Ive been wearing it up worn a ton of hair pins. It's too short to even put into a ponytail, and it's been difficult emotionally to adjust to, especially knowing this wasn't what I consented to. Hair grows back, but that doesn't take away how distressing this experience has been. I feel so awful looking at myself in the mirror... I have long, layered hair, and from the moment I arrived, Caroline was so engaging and attentive. She really listened to what I wanted and was patient throughout the entire process. My second stylist, Jessica, had always been pleasant & professional until the last visit when she unexpectedly assigned the task of removing my bleach to another staff member. This person accidentally sprayed bleach into my eyes while rinsing my hair, & I realized too late that Jessica was not the one handling my treatment. She had delegated this critical part of the process without consulting me, which was completely out of character for her. I confronted Jessica while she was attending to another client, expressing my dissatisfaction with her decision to let someone else take over without my consent. This was a departure from her usual practice of managing the entire process herself. When the manager approached me, she presented an incident report and inquired if I needed medical assistance, which I declined due to potential costs. I requested the salon's insurance information, but she refused to provide it, insisting she couldn't give me money, which I never asked for. Her inability to handle the situation appropriately further highlighted the unprofessionalism I encountered, leaving me frustrated and disappointed with the salon's management. It's common knowledge that businesses maintain insurance policies to shield themselves from liability. My boyfriend asked the manager if she could provide cream for my face in case the bleach caused irritation, but she responded rudely, stating she couldn't help. Prior to that, while waiting for me in the lobby, he was informed that phone calls were not allowed inside & that he needed to step outside. Ultimately, she asked us to leave the premises, displaying a rude & anxious demeanor, even threatening to call the police. Such behavior is completely unacceptable, especially after an incident where bleach, water, and shampoo were splashed into a client's eyes. I cannot recommend this establishment under the current management. It's disheartening to see individuals cut corners in their jobs, passing responsibilities to less knowledgeable staff, which ultimately harms clients. We requested that the manager have the owner contact us, but that call never came. I did not request any "Free" products, but I did ask for a birthday discount both a month before and after my birthday, which was denied each time.
