Pricey, but some of the best airport food I have had.
We were waiting a while for our plane and decided to eat. There was a few quick food options, but we had time so we looked for more of a sit down option. We wandered up to the hunter bar.
A couple of older ladies in front of us got a couple things including a "breakfast burger and a couple glasses of wine. We looked at each other like we were just given permission to have a good time in an airport at 10AM.
Needless to say we walked to our table with a our order number and 2 glasses of Cabernet. It was funny that we looked the open breezy restaurant and all the other older couples were enjoying a glass of wine as well.
it was a great space, with one high all glass wall was facing towards the airfield. all other parts were clean lines and light woods. It felt very, Norway.
our breakfast burgers and fries came out pretty quick. They were perfect. I had asked for my egg to be medium, which people mess up all the time. This one was spot on.
We ate all our foo voraciously, then kicked back. Even though we were done, we just enjoyed the space for a bit more, as it was very relaxing.
I can say, if you are in this part of the airport, this is a great spot for a bite, especially with a glass of wine. read more
