If I could give them no stars I wiI tried using this company to clean a sectional that was given to me. The sofa had some stains 2 were pretty sizable but non the less i figured a good company could clean it. Well this wasn't the company. The sectional has 4 pieces a total of 8 bottom cushions and 8 back cushions. He was literally in the home for 1 hour and the sofa looks worst now than before he came. I wasted 150 dollars for nothing. Once he decided he was done trying to clean them he suggested couch covers. My recommendation is DO NOT HIRE THEM. I'm so angry that I have to hire another company to do what should have been done the first time. This company is terrible! Update: laughing, the sofa did not have any urine on it, it was old juice. It would smell if there was urine on it sir, Also you did not give me my money back. Further more you didn't ask for my permission to film in my home so you went against my privacy. *Added photo of him getting address and confirming since he claims that's why he didn't show up* My address is 13 miles from his zip code I had a sectional that needed to be cleaned as our puppy had an accident. I searched on Groupon and found they had a special to do a sectional for $58, but that there may be extra charges for travel more than 15 miles and pet stains, so I decided to give them a call. I called 3 times that day and so did my wife once and we got no response. I tried again the following day as the Groupon would expire that night. Normally if a business doesn't want to return my call I take it as a sign they don't want my business, but it was a good deal and I understand that things happen. I still got nothing back and started to look for another company. Two days later I finally got a call back. I spoke to the gentleman who told me that yes he will come to me (my house is 16 miles from the center of his zip code) and that the price for the pet stains was an additional $100. The Groupon had gone up to $62 and he said the total would be $162. He also advised me not to buy the Groupon and just pay him cash. All of this was fine with me even though I thought the up-charge was a bit much because sectional cleaning is usually at least $100 on its own. So we talked about days that would work and after talking to my wife and moving a few appointments we decided on Monday at 11am. I had to reschedule a Drs appointment, but we wanted to get this done ASAP. Well Monday came and so did 11am. Nothing from him and he hadn't shown up. Things happen, I'd be patient. Well it was finally 11:30 and my wife texted asking how it was going and I went to respond with "Couch guy isn't **** here". At this point I was upset and talking to my wife I felt the extra adjective was warranted. Unfortunately I accidentally sent that message to the cleaner. Who responded upset about the language. Still no excuse for being 30 mins late. He then said do to my foul language he wouldn't be doing my cleaning. He was very unprofessional and I don't think he had any intention of showing up. If he was running late all he had to do was call or text. Instead he chose to leave me hanging. I suggest you use anyone, but his guy. Who knows if he will even show up. When I told him I was going to write a bad review he said he would just post our message so I included that as well. read more

I bought a Groupon for these folks, but when I tried to redeem it, here's what they said: "Unfortunately we are not servicing Groupon voucher until this coronavirus epidemic is completely over. Reason being is because Groupon isn't insuring us while this is going on. So we have to use our own personal insurance so if you want us to come do your cleaning it will be for the regular cleaning price. Or my other suggestion is that you can wait until this coronavirus epidemic is completely over then we will service Groupon vouchers." The Groupon expires in October. Who knows when they deem the epidemic "completely over"? Chicago is moving into Phase 4 this Friday. They had a whole bunch of ifs, ands, and buts in their terms. The pandemic wasn't one of them. This is the second time we have used Honey Child's service and he works wonders getting our miniature pinscher's pee and puke stains out, and as importantly, the odors as well. It's a $30 upgrade for each of the live enzyme treatment and / or odor removal, per room. That's $60 per room to upgrade for both, but it was totally worth it for us. Not a very pleasant experience and refund issues . We ordered the service through Groupon for the whole room and another rug area . After the service was done we been told not to step on the rug for the day till it dries up and so we did . Next day we noticed brown spot on the gray hardwood floor all around under the rug area , not able to clean . We contacted the office to assist with the problem and they denied ever giving us the service , eventually the owner agreed to fix the matter and then went back on his word . Hired the company through Groupon. They cleaned 1 master BR and an area carpet rug. Several days later I had realized that the gray hard wood under the area carpet rug had been stained brown due to the chemicals that were used. I reached out to the company he denied ever have cleaning the area rug when myself and girlfriend were physically there watching them at the time. Owner continue to deny and said the company was not responsible for any repairs. That was until I had told them I had video surveillance in my condo at which point he agrees to pay for the damages. He asked me if he could pay in increments due to the economy. I asked about his insurance at which point he said he had only "bootleg" insurance. He then asked if I would agree to a story that he burned mediation oil on the floor, due to he had a medication company which insurance would cover the damage. I said absolutely no as that is insurance fraud. Ultimately they backed out to fix the damages once I provided them the estimate and now I am taking them to court. So in all, floor damaged, need to be sanded and restrained, I had to throw out destroyed old area rug, and replace with a new one, costing me over $4k for a $65 job. Update! Velle Carpet Care and Honey Child's Carpet is one in the same company. Don't worry everyone this will be dealt with legally. read more
