We saw this place online while we were on our way to the John Deere Pavilion. Is it called the…read moresteel plow because of John Deere? Idk. We saw a picture of the milkshakes and decided we HAD to come here. Great looking restaurant, very clean and modern. Our waitress was super nice, always making sure we had what we needed. We started off with an appetizer of cheese curds. They had a combo basket with all 3 flavors; regular, garlic, and jalapeño. Very disappointed, could not tell the difference in flavor between the 3. We asked our waitress if it was a mistake and we didn't get the combo but she unfortunately said no and that people have mentioned that before. I of course got a burger, bison burger, brioche bun, and the toppings I like. I built my own because I just couldn't make up my mind. I loved it, cooked perfectly, juicy, so much flavor. I think it was my first time ever having bison and I enjoyed it. Fries were good. Now here comes the delicious part, we got a chocolate chip cookie sundae to share because we were stuffed, and the price of the milkshakes seemed a little high. It did take a little longer than we hoped to get to our table, but our great waitress kept us updated and apologized for the wait. It was so good, my mouth is watering 30 hours later thinking about it. It was enough for 2 adults and a 21 month old. We will definitely come back when we are in the area. I do think it's a little overpriced. But I really enjoyed dining here and can't wait to come back.

I first found out about Cane's when I was in AZ, we didn't have one nearby so I dismissed it…read more Months later in Texas some friends convinced me to go to lunch with them. THEN IT HIT ME!!! It was the magical place I heard about months prior. Leaving Costco one day I nearly jumped out of the moving car when I saw a Cane's right in front of my own eyes. How could it be? Was it a mirage? I made a mental note and swore I'd come back with an innocent soul to expose to the delightful chicken. Well, a lady of my word, I did just that. I've hyped up many places in the past to my mum (mostly chicken) and this was the first time she was actually pleasantly surprised. The chicken is so soft, tender, with the right amount of crisp. The crinkly cut fries aren't the greatest by any means, but Cane's sauce can make dirt taste like heaven. I'm not a fan of Coleslaw and forgot to get her input... the Texas Toast is always soft, buttery, pillow-y heaven. Normally I order an Arnold Palmer (1/2 sweet tea, 1/2 lemonade) I know some places call it different names and unsure if Cane's falls into this cafe. That was the most disappointing part, very watery and uneventful. BUT I was there for the food, not the drink. The menu is very simple, chickie tendies and I believe they have a chicken strip sandwich? Never tried it. Sometimes simple is where it's at. When I want something fast, I'll pick Cane's over the other hardened fast food chicken places.
