My favorite place in Needham! Authentic margaritas, awesome burritos and tacos, great wine and tequila bar.

Ordered online around 0615pm and it was to be ready in 30ms per the website. Showed up at 0645pm and it was not ready. It was not busy and they found my ticket in the "done" pile. Had to wait more 10ms before they could make it. I had only a 30min break. They said sorry, but offered no compensation or refund. I believe if the place of business makes a mistake they should offer something for their error. NOT HAPPY! read more

One of the worst food experiences--they had shut down part of the kitchen an hour before closing so could not prepare what we ordered, were out of the other item and substituted something unknown and far to spicy to eat. A very unfortunate experience. Not very good food either. read more

Always want to support new and local businesses. Tried the pork torta. Just okay. Very very wet and lots of fat and grizzle in the pork which made it unpleasant to eat. Surprised that a brand new restaurant wouldn't be clean. The food prep area was dirty. I was there at a time that wasn't busy at all so absolutely no excuse that it wasn't clean. I have been going here since they opened and their tamales are to die for. I have had tamales maybe once or twice before so I don't know how they rank to Spanish people but I loved them. I literally get them every time I got there. I have their burrito bowl which was fine, it definitely has a more authentic flavor profile compared to Chiptloe which I liked. I work in the Needham area and usually have more food delivered and I have never had an issue. They usually arrive beroe the estimated time which I like. read more

What a terrific surprise! Very tasty, authentic Mexican food in Needham, and not ridiculously expensive. We have had tacos al pastor (twice), chicken mole enchiladas, and chicken tamale with salsa verde. All were excellent and we plan to return to try the other options. There is a good selection of beers, as well as Mexican soft drinks. Service is very fast, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is clearly "functional" but it's fine. We are very familiar with authentic Mexican food as we have traveled throughout Mexico for many years and grew up eating Mexican food. This is the real deal. I am shocked at the interaction I just had with staff over the phone. I ordered delivery through seamless and made notes about the sauces and sides for each entree as there was no other option to indicate. After I placed the order, I called the restaurant to double check they were able to see the notes as there were quite a bit of sauces we added and they confirmed. When I received my order it was missing 10 of the 13 sauces and sides for the 6 entrees we ordered. We also paid for them too (multiple sour creams, guacamole, pico and salsas). I called back to see what could be done (very politely) and was met with truly the most disrespectful tone and words. He raised his voice and told me to take it up with seamless, not his problem. When I mentioned that I had called him to confirm he was able to see the notes I was again was met with rudeness. At that point I got upset at the way he was speaking to me and when I began to say I would not be ordering from them again he hung up the phone on me. Listen, I was missing a bunch of sauces and guacamole, it was not the end of the world. I called to see what the options were for getting them, I would have even driven to get them. But what I was met with is just unacceptable. What a shame, they lost a customer. read more

Let's just say that it was a disappointment. Every component in the burrito was under seasoned. I should have known when they offered chopped tomatoes instead of salsa as condiment. Anna's has no reason to be concerned. I would glad drive another 10 minutes to get my Mexican fix next time. read more

I have followed "the Coyote" around the south shore for the better part of a decade. Today I brought my family to his new full service restaurant/ bar in Needham. It is fantastic!! Best food in all of needham, it took 18 years for a Mexican restaurant to pop up in this town of suburbanites ,but finally we have one and I've got to say I'm not disappointed at all it's reasonably priced with good food and student deals it's hard to complain about such a perfect restaurant. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but it was disappointing. As a Mexican I have high standards for what I expect from Mexican food! The tortillas are thick and nothing special. We got four tacos- The carne asada was tasty but very dry, chicken was under seasoned, pastor was okay but I hope it's better once it's on the spit, the carnitas were fine. All around all the meat felt dry and old. The rice and beans were also under seasoned. The pico de gallo was tasty despite not being spicy. The green sauce was the only minimally spicy salsa. I wish they had more hot sauces. read more

I really want to like it here and give them my family's business, but I've been twice now and disappointed each time. We ordered burritos on both occasions, and the burrito itself was large but lacking in flavor and was somewhat cold. The most recent night was very busy for them, and it looked like they had only one person really making the food and a few others standing around or at the bar. I think they could use some more help! I had to wait 20 minutes to get my burrito, which, like i said, was unfortunately bland and cold. Never thought I'd say this as a true lover of authentic Mexican, but I was happier at Chipotle after this. I will go back to give them another try, but this is a plea to get more staff and to spice up your offerings! read more

Gave this new restaurant a try and were very glad we did. Great, fresh ingredients expertly combined while you watch to create all manner of Mexican dishes. Special orders seem to be obliged. Friendly, helpful employees ( family) make the experience even better. But the food is the draw here. Hot, fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is very casual but welcoming. Counter service. Clean. Also have tried takeout here on our second visit and were equally happy relative to the experience. Try it!! read more

I don't know if I could speak more highly of this establishment. From the amazing owners who brings so much culture and class to this restaurant, Aries the bartender was amazing and Olivia a charm. This is a must try for food, drink and fun. We had one of the best nights we've ever had. Two couples out for a night out. Tried a new local place that had opened and it was a bomb and went here on a whim and it was A+. I'm glad the first place was a bomb otherwise we wouldn't have ended up here. It's very good. I've wanted to go here for a while now, but I've never had the time. Today seemed like a good day to go, and so I went. The burrito was delicious and very very big. No problems there, I simply cut it in half and shared it with a friend. I didn't realize that the guacamole was $1.50 extra though, but that's on me. The only downside is that the interior decoration doesn't feel all that special. It's nice and simple, but could use a few more decorations here and there.
