Convenient location right off of the highway. Nice outdoor seating. Food is nothing to write home about and is overpriced.

In the distance we see a place called Harvey's. One of our fellow passengers say it's good food and that it's a burger chain. I'm not from the area so I was unfamiliar. I vote to go and try it and I'm glad I did. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and a salted caramel shake. It was essentially a breaded chicken submerged in buffalo sauce. This surprised me as many other chains just lather on buffalo sauce on top or internet videos have you put Chik fil a chicken in the sandwich bag, add sauce and manually shake it yourself. This was much better at Harvey's. Also the chicken was the right amount of soft with a slight crisp that I prefer. They also ask you what type of toppings you want on your burger which was unusual for a burger shop. Places like subway or chipotle do the toppings on front of you but, first time I've seen them stack a burger which was a nice experience that probably isn't a thought for others. I also really liked that they add pickle slices from the long way of a pickle instead of the smaller short circles in used to. After that, satisfying sandwich, I washed it down with a salted caramel shake. I can't say as much as it was a milk shake with salted caramel flavoring but it was smooth like milk and not thick like ice cream Service was quick, workers just took my order and were patient. I don't know if this is how all Harvey's operate but I really enjoyed what I had and I can recommend trying it if someone sees one in the area

It was cold autumn month when we were here but they offered a dining area outside with heater. On the menu, they offered one piece fish and chips combo, or fish and shrimp combo, or chicken and back ribs at less than $25. They also offered all you can eat fish and chips at $28.99. We were pretty hungry so a few of us went with all you can eat fish and chips. The fries were mediocre but the fish was awesome. Each one piece of fish here was cut into two half pieces when they fried it. The fish was perfectly cooked and flavoured with very crispy breading with perfect thickness. The white fish tasted so fresh and soft. The owner was so nice to renew our fish a couple of times until we were full. Very satisfied with our dining experience here and strongly recommend their fish and chips.

The fish was very fresh and juicy, wrapped in a thin, crispy batter, the best fried fish I've had so far, though my limit was one fish, and I'd feel greasy after that. The fries were on the thin side; it'd be even better if they were made in authentic British style. Fried calamari was delicious. Also wanted to try their shrimp, but too bad it only came in a combo while we didn't need more fries. Their homemade IPA tasted good but was pricey - 4 cans for $35. Service was good, meeting standard expectations. Overall, it's a solid spot for fresh seafood in Tobermory. We got take out so it was minimal service and ambiance but the front staff were great and looking around, the ambiance looked to be very cozy. We got a meatball sandwich was some great potato wedges. A salad with a fried egg which is something neither of us had before and a pizza. I would say the salad and sandwich was better than the pizza but that being said I would give the salad a 5/5, the sandwich 4.5/5 and the pizza a 4/5 so still all very solid. Would recommend this to anyone in the area.

The lighting was a little dimmer than I would have liked, I was y able to see too much, and they had small table lamps which were cute but quite ineffective in keeping the place lit. It was actually hard for all four of us to read our menus at the same time we had to pass the table lamp to each other lol. I ordered the Mediterranean pizza, they had a good amount of toppings, quite heavy on the feta, which honestly is very nice to see. But I'm more of a veggie person so I would have really liked more veggies on my pizza, but it was good, and HUGE! The portion size is good for two people minimum! The dessert was honestly nothing that would keep me coming back, or I would probably skip it the next time. It was well made, but much to sweet for my liking, but if your a Nutella fan and love marshmallows, then this is the perfect end to your meal! Bon appetite!
