Beaver tail with white and dark chocolate, brownie bits and Nutella
    Goldie V.

I ordered the triple chocolate beaver tail, $7. The pasty was fried to perfection, and almost felt a little healthy to eat because I think it had some whole wheat in the dough. The filling was sweeeet! Loaded with white and dark chocolate chips and topped with brownie bits all sitting on a melty later of Nutella. Such an indulgence. The staff were quite friendly and informative, I would definitely come back here next time we're in Tobermory.

Really delicious beaver tails, made quickly and fresh. Generous with the toppings too!

Beaver tails were OK. Sundaes were a bit warm. Don't know if there machine was broken. Mine was like room temperature ice cream soup.

    S'mores.

After a long day of activities, this was a great place to grab some dessert. Lots of options, but kind of pricey...$7 for a Beavertail. Service was quick but things can get messy really quick. We got the S'mores Beavertail...would've been nice if they could have roasted the marshmallows too. Other than that, it's your typical sugar rush.

Located right off the pier, a great stop for a munchie after a boat ride. Does not disappoint.

Tasty treat. Just ate one today, but can only one kind can be ordered for my daughter because all have nuts content except one kind.

It was cold autumn month when we were here but they offered a dining area outside with heater. On the menu, they offered one piece fish and chips combo, or fish and shrimp combo, or chicken and back ribs at less than $25. They also offered all you can eat fish and chips at $28.99. We were pretty hungry so a few of us went with all you can eat fish and chips. The fries were mediocre but the fish was awesome. Each one piece of fish here was cut into two half pieces when they fried it. The fish was perfectly cooked and flavoured with very crispy breading with perfect thickness. The white fish tasted so fresh and soft. The owner was so nice to renew our fish a couple of times until we were full. Very satisfied with our dining experience here and strongly recommend their fish and chips.

The fish was very fresh and juicy, wrapped in a thin, crispy batter, the best fried fish I've had so far, though my limit was one fish, and I'd feel greasy after that. The fries were on the thin side; it'd be even better if they were made in authentic British style. Fried calamari was delicious. Also wanted to try their shrimp, but too bad it only came in a combo while we didn't need more fries. Their homemade IPA tasted good but was pricey - 4 cans for $35. Service was good, meeting standard expectations. Overall, it's a solid spot for fresh seafood in Tobermory. The staff are very friendly and food comes out reasonably quick. Food: We got the cochinita pibil, birria, and chicken tacos and actually found them all flavorful. The meats were tender, juicy, and stewed in savory juice which drips from the tacos. The tortillas were fresh and pliable. My only gripe was that they were a smidge small and I easily could have gone for a 4th. The Cubano sandwich is not authentic and really is a pulled pork sandwich with a cubano riff. It did have ham and cheese but they used a sweet ham and regular sandwich bread instead of a true cuban loaf. Despite not being authentic, it was still tasty. Overall this place is fine if you're craving a Mexican meal. The prices were steep at $21 for three street tacos and $18 for a Cubano but most things in Tobermory are tourist-priced like this. Worth a try but just set your expectations accordingly.

Ha! The meager reviews on this page are brutal. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to lift up…read morethe average all that much. I came here for lunch yesterday when I was in the area because I didn't really have time for a proper lunch and there didn't appear to be any other fast food places around (no A&W, which would have been my go-to fast food joint). There was a Tim Horton's across the road, but Tim and I had a falling out a while ago over his crappy reheated frozen foods. Anyway, this place is tiny. Like postage-stamp tiny. I think there are maybe less than ten tables in this joint. And the bathrooms are single stalls. These people definitely aren't the speediest, so my observations align with the other reviewers. While I waited for my order, I watched one of the cashiers go out in the pouring rain a handful of times to bring items out to people who had ordered at the drive-thru and were asked to park to wait for their items. So, yeah, that would definitely annoy the drive-thru people. But it was no quicker inside so don't think we were getting great service while you waited in your cars. I ordered a big mac and I have to say that this was the one of the most poorly assembled big macs I've ever had. Firstly, there was hardly any sauce, and that's a cardinal sin when it comes to big macs because the sauce is its saving grace (it's certainly not the tasteless meat). None of the layers were lined up. They were all (ALL) askew to a fairly considerable degree and, consequently, most of the lettuce was in the box rather than in my burger. The lettuce issue probably owed as much to the lack of sauce, which should have "glued" the lettuce to the buns, as the lack of alignment. The bathroom was out of toilet paper and was in a state of general disarray. I certainly hope I don't have to come back to Meaford anytime soon, but if I do, I definitely won't be coming back here if I have any other choice.
