I had to cook my own meals plus a dinner for the entire house which was 20 girls plus house mothers. This is a lot for someone who could barely function and required treatment. I was there for 10 days and not allowed to make phone calls. None! The therapist told my husband I was not doing well and needed a higher level of care. He then left for the weekend. I was nearly catatonic and could barely form a sentence. I tried talking to the house, mothers, a nurse, the doctor, therapist, and the head therapist and I could not get the help I needed. I'm still being treated for PTSD from staying at The Ranch and it has been seven years. The only time I felt safe was my last night in the infirmary before I left. This is not a place for someone with any sort of mental disorder. It is more of a recovery center for addiction. It is a holistic approach to healing. Please read reviews carefully before you go. I was struggling from grief, depression, and anxiety. I was desperate and didn't know where to turn. I thought The Ranch was my answer and it was almost my ending.

They have a policy for patients about being late or unable to attend an appointment, but the doctors are constantly running late without apologies or explanations. What I'm hearing from their policies is, their time is important and valuable and our time is not important or valuable. I will have to finish this review with the full report of our doctors visit after and if we get seen at all today. Just to be clear, we were here to check-in 20 minutes early, now they are 10 minutes late with at least calling us back from the waiting room area. No Compassion, none. I understand MCCH is recording doctor patient visits on iPhone as a backup for notes and updating patients records, we've been doing that too, for years. That's the same reason we go to appointments together, to help each other remember, we also still take some hand written notes. This doctor never touched the patient, not a stethoscope to listen to her breathing or checking the feet of a type 1 diabetic, no looking in ears or throat, feeling limp nodes for irregularities. Everyone knows diabetes is an autoimmune disease, so leaving us sitting in a full waiting room most likely wasn't medically prudent. Once again i'm unhappy with MCCH selection of a representative, a patient should never be treated like this, give us our dignity back. Looking at the signs in your lobby, you already know there is a problem. Now, look inward and solve it. Most of your nurses and office staff are fantastic, I feel sorry for them taking the abuse because of the negligence of the doctors and, let's be honest it neglecting your duties as a medical professional establishment.

Besides having a great program, their commitment to each client is inspiring and effective. They had added an extended care program for those that need additional care beyond what is offered at traditional half way house programs. The care that my parents are getting is top notch. Very caring people, from the administrators,…read morenursing staff, resident assistants, etc. I didn't like the idea at first of putting them in an assisted living because it wasn't home, but they got to the point they couldn't take care of themselves. So, we had to do something. They have been in this facility since January, and they love it. We have been so pleased, and we haven't had to worry. They have 24/7 nurse care, and they check on everyone every two hours. You can't ask for any more than that. We all weren't born to be caregivers, but we are lucky enough to have found this new family in Fieldstone. Give them a try and you will be pleasantly surprised. Great group to work with. We can't thank them enough.
