I was only there for a week due to a hernia issue but I really loved it. The food was amazing, the staff was always busy. They did their jobs for sure. I never had to go looking for someone to help me, answer a question or anything!! It's small so you don't get lost in the mix. Nobody wears name tags because everyone knows everyone. I was denied when I tried to return for treatment a week later due to my hernia issue, which I understand, but at the same time I've been to 5 other treatment facilities and this was the one I felt a connection to and at home at!!! The groups take place in the cafeteria. It's co-Ed but the mens hall is on the other end. I heard some of girls complain about this or that but it's what you make it. I never had an issue that wasn't met with true concern and a proper solution within minutes of bringing to staffs attention. Rehab isn't a destination vacation, it's not comfortable, it's not home! But comfortable got us into a place we need help getting away from and Freeman definitely took the steps to help me get out of my comfort zone and into a healing, safe place. I've since gone to another treatment center and can't say it's as much a fit for me as Freeman was but I'm trying!! read more
