The ride I had arranged prior had a urgent family matter so I needed a ride and with less than 24 hours notice. No pressure, right?! So I fire up my trusty yelp app and type in airport shuttle, looked at the highest rated service. As always, I entrusted my fellow yelpers to steer me in the right direction when I am out of town, I was not disappointed. I called and was answered (on a Saturday) by a most pleasant gentleman. Gave all my info over the phone, I also prepaid for the fare and included the tip so I did not have to worry about anything. Thank you to the reviewer who advised the old fashion carbon copy thing with the credit card, I was not interested in that floating around either. So you can prepay the fare and tip, which I suggest. I felt the price for the fare was very reasonable considering I was coming from the Milton area. I was picked up exactly when I had requested, my vehicle was clean and in good mechanical shape. My driver (I'm so sorry I can not remember his name to save my life right now) shared several very entertaining stories on our 30 min drive to the airport. Bullet points: 5 stars was earned in my view, rates very fair,on time, professionalism awesome, I felt safe the entire ride, they responded to my short notice like a 5 star company. For the company owner, thank for providing this level of service, it reflects well on you as a person. If you treat all your customers the way I was treated, your business will thrive. I would like to recommend the ability for your staff to be able to use "modern" swipe to pay technology in the car. I know that there are devices that allow even a iPhone to have that ability. My husband and I agreed we should warn others. The business is owned/run by father and son. The son's service was excellent. The father should not be driving at all. He tried to answer the phone while driving, was inattentive to a lane closure until we told him to change lanes, was challenged to stay in his lane, and just seemed distracted. We were worried the parking situation at the airport would be a nightmare during Thanksgiving week, so we decided to try a local shuttle service for the first time. Dustin arrived 15 minutes early to help us with our luggage, unpacked all our bags at the airport, and a week later was waiting right on time at the airport to pick us up upon our return the following Saturday. FYI: Dustin is a retired law enforcement officer and told us he's setting aside the money he makes from his shuttle service to help pay for his daughter's college expenses. He is extremely courteous, friendly, and very reasonably priced. I love supporting local businesses, and this is one that definitely deserves our residents' support.

My last trip entailed a pick-up at 4am with tons of luggage. He confirmed with me the day before and even arrived a bit early. His driving is not aggressive (but why would it be at that hour) and conversation was left up to me to initiate. He, of course, handled my baggage from front door to curbside. For my return he confirmed again via text. Then the problems started regarding my return flights. After 26 hours of standby Gary was waiting for me at the airport. I did some serious comparison shopping and you won't find a better private transfer rate. I think Able covers all of the NW FL and AL beach areas.
