Very spacious and ample bar and table seating, service was polite and attentive given only two staff actually serving tables on a rather busy night. Beer and wine were reasonably priced and good "pours", food was excellent with many tavern type options and daily specials. Food was prepared quickly and served very hot. On the night we dined there was live entertainment that seems to be scheduled often on weekends. Overall a great experience and the establishment had a hometown vibe but all are welcome.. read more

Food is amazing and decently priced. Staff is amazing. Great cooks. Atmosphere is mainly regulars but all welcoming and friendly.

This place is definitely geared toward a regular local crowd. The large bar dominates the center of the room with tables around the perimeter of it. Every time I've been there, the bar is full of regulars that are there for the evening. They often have live entertainment which can take up a decent amount of dining space and is really loud making conversation really difficult. They do also have a side room used for parties and events. Service on our last visit was much better than my previous visits and food had been pretty good on all visits. read more

If I could give worse I would. I had a horrible experience. The food was good, the beers were cold. The blonde waitress ( if that is what you want to call her! ) Totally ignored customers, would disappear outback or flirt with the older men at the bar. When I asked for a beer, she said I should have "fucking told her before" and did not return to the table . She was randomly singing and then screaming at people- and then laughing. Seemed to be on drugs or something. The entire bar turned around when she screamed at me. She seemed to be showing off for the boys at the bar. I have never been talked to so bad in my life and will not be back. My friend said that she waited to do that right when the owner left. read more

I gotta say most of these negative reviews probably come from Killington douches and fancy people expecting too much. My parents and I stopped by here and had a great and tasty meal. The bartender was our waiter, too, and got us our order with a smile. Solid American fare, the BLT was very choice but man, the Michigan dog, smothered in meat sauce with onion rings on the side, well alright now! My parents joked about how we meet have been the only Indian people ever in there, but everyone was super-friendly. On the way out, one of the grizzled old regulars at the bar even thanked us for coming in. Also, you can but NY Lotto tickets, so here's hoping my $20 goes to $17 million. Next time I'm passing thru, it's a cheeseburger or big wings for me. 'Cause ain't that America. read more

As soon as I walked in..I heard the fireplug sized bartender..yell "Fuck"..he just lost a bet on a college Parlay..and he was transfixed on the tv screen..and..not customers. Overpriced heavily iced mixed drinks. Got to admit..plenty of tv's for sure...Took a little walk around the place and it can be summed up as "Dated" ..Definte jacoby 1960s El cheapo construction on this place..The kitchen floor was deplorable ...all broken up and everything. You should prolly hide this aspect of your kitchen instead of wide open. Good luck in the future. read more

Went today for lunch with Grandsons .Service was awful blonde at bar was very rude.Told grandson he couldn't have the wings he wanted wouldn't even listen to us.Took for ever to get lunch and when my husband said his was cold she started yelling and screaming at us.Saying there was just 2 people working and there was 3 people.She was causing a big scene very embarrassing we couldn't even finish our lunch the kids were very upset.We have heard bad things about this girl before She should not be working in a place of business if she thinks it's ok to yell at customers especially when their are children 8 and 10 years old.Will be along time before we go back.Too bad was one of our favorite places read more

Horrible, horrible,horrible.. 2 people working full bar and restaurant. Waitress took order after waiting 15 minutes, brought drinks and that food took over an hour, ready to leave as the baby was starving and not waiting any longer. Asked guy if food wasn't ready I wanted check, he went in kitchen, came out with food, ICE COLD! Asked guy for check while eating cause waitress never came back. No one came for check so I went to bar to pay.. waiting waiting waiting.. finally patrons called waitress to cash me out, she stood in the middle of the bar and screamed I've got two fu@king hands and two fu@king legs.. guy cashed me out finally. Now I can understand if someone is busy but no excuse for the treatment we received. We are from out of town visiting our daughter and granddaughter and we always drive by humbuggs and I really wanted to try it out instead of going into Saratoga!! Huge mistake!! I went there today with a few friends. The bartender who is blond was not attentive at all. She kept going back to her "regulars" ignoring everyone else. A friend came in for a to go and she couldn't get waited on either, I had to get bartenders attention. Went to dinner to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. Friend we came with asked bartender/waitress what they had on draught. She said he'll have to get up and walk around the bar to see. It was a Thursday, on their menu they advertise "Thursday Draught Specials"... shouldn't the waitress know what's on draught then? Food took forever to get out, the 5 staff members that were walking around the whole time we were there didn't once stop to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. Stopped in last night for a friends 50th birthday and couldn't be more pleased! Our waitress was attentive and added a nice touch of witty humor. The food was delicious! We only had apps but the wings and boneless wings were some of the best I've had.. they had about 20 beers on tap which provided something for everyone. The bartenders did a great job keeping our drinks filled and accommodating our requests. And the music was wonderful! A really great duo played and really engaged the crowd. So as soon as we walk in the door to pick up our food we see a male behind the bar spit into the sink and then we waited for about 15 minutes for anyone to notice us when it was not a busy time! Around 4 on a Thursday. This place is extremely over priced for what you get I got a tiny toss salad $5.00 which was bad lettuce and a quesadilla for $13.00. The quesadilla was suppose to have onion, tomato, black olive, chicken, cheese, peppers and jalapeños but I asked for no jalapeños. The quesadilla only had chicken, big pieces of jalapeños and so many black olives it was unreal that's all you were tasting was fake black olives so I didn't eat it. My boyfriend got the Rodeo burger with fries it was $12 and change the onion ring on it was very small it didn't even cover a quarter of the burger. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you like shitty food and a nasty atmosphere. read more

I'm giving this one star because we didn't even get a chance to try it. My husband, son and I went there this evening (Wednesday at 6:30) to grab a burger because we heard they were good. We walked in and they were moderately busy. By no means packed. No one said "hello" or "grab a table" so we just sat at a booth. We sat there for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged us, no waitress came over, no one offered us a menu. After 10 minutes of not one person behind the bar or anywhere else in the building giving is any attention at all, even to just say it would be a minute, we left. Maybe you have to me a regular to get service, but I won't be going back to become one. I know there is better food elsewhere with WAY better service. read more

Went here last night for a bike club meeting and found the food to be good and the service to be average. I did find it kind of strange that they had a bad on a Thursday night that was way to loud for the size of the establishment. If the music was turned down to a reasonable level it would have been more enjoyable. read more

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. First the service was horrible. When closing I waited at the bar for 20 minutes just to close out. Food was worse than the service. I ordered nachos to split with my wife. For 14 dollars I was thinking it would be a large plate, and actually taste good. I was wrong on both accounts. Plate was barely enough to feed my wife and I. Chips were dollar brand as well as crushed. Cheese was canned, and the chicken on them was nasty. The people I went with ordered a burger that literally came with about 10 skinny French fries and a roast beef sandwich with potato wedges. Wedges were barely even cooked, still cold and raw on the inside. One person got the Michigan hot dogs with fries and that seemed to be the only decent meal. Food came out extremely staggered. First 2 came out 30 minutes after we ordered. Next came out 10 minutes later, and the last 10 minutes after that. We could see the kitchen from where we were sitting and there was garbage piled everywhere (I didn't notice this until after we ate or I probably wouldn't have ordered food). Go here for a beer, my IPA was good, but if you are looking to go get food, check the dumpster behind Coopers Cave, you will probably get a better meal. read more

I know this is a bar type atmosphere...but that still doesn't excuse their poor service regarding their waitstaff. They are so slow that although my fiancee likes their Michigan Dogs, I absolutely dread going in there. The people sitting at the bar don't have any respect for other patrons and the waitstaff is so consumed with catering to the people at the bar they ignore you for long periods of time. I wouldn't even mind this at night because, like I said, they have a bar. However I feel during a lunch hour staff should be more mindful and courteous. I've never experienced such a rude bunch of employes in a restaurant in the middle of the day. Then when they finally DO take your order it takes FOREVER to even get a drink let alone food. When you do get your food it is cold and if something is wrong (which it usually is) forget about a waitress coming to your table. I swear the only reason they stay in business is because of all the 60 year old drunks that the employees cater to every whim so they get a lot more tips than the few people that choose to sit down and eat. I really hope an owner or management sees this so they can train their employees properly on customer service. read more

Absolute trash! We sat at the bar for over 10 mins with no service, it was not busy by any means at the time. When we asked for a drink, we got a rude response from one of the bartenders. Let it slide figuring they might have had a bad night. When I asked for my check, all 3 bartenders completely ignored me and when I spoke up, one of the bartenders turned and started cussing my wife and I out. DO NOT go to this place, horrible service and bottom of the barrel bartenders. This isn't the first time I've heard of the people working here pulling this stuff. Clearly they're not intelligent enough nor hold any kind of mannerisms to hold a conversation with a customer without hurling insults and cussing them out. well i had a bad experience here last week. i was over charged for my drinks and when i asked the bar tender why they were so expensive she told me that was how much they have always been. so i wrote a review on there facebook page. i went back to give them another try today and i was asked by one of the bartenders if i left a "bad review" on there facebook page and i said yes, i was upset. she told me that i should have told someone, which i did, and was very rude to me, so i got up and left. i used to go here at least twice a week and never had any complaints until now. i will never go back to this establishment. read more

I went there with good expectations for a great drink, good bar food and good live music with friends. The waitress must have been having a bad day bc she looked and acted miserable. Not a smile, no thank you, didn't come back to fill drinks or check how we liked our food. I was not impressed w our food. Prices I thought were a little high for the area. $11 for wings. $10 for a turkey club. Etc.... I ended up getting a club w ff. The turkey on the club was that slimy deli turkey and the ff were not cooked all the way. Not crispy. Very chewy. I hardly ate any of it. Same w my friends food. She ordered chicken fingers and ff. Never again. Went to hear a band play. Got there early enough to have dinner for 2 before. Dinner was decent, nothing special but good. Good enough that we would have given a decent review. Spent $50+ on that. However, then we stayed for another couple of hours listening to the band and had several drinks. Toward the end of the night one person asked for a water. There is no free tap water here. We were offered bottled water for $2.50 each. For real??? I have never been to a restaurant/bar that wouldn't give you water. Absolutely astounded...how do they get away with this??? And then they had attitude when we complained about it. We spent a good $150-200 over the course of the night, tipped for every drink, between the 4 of us, and left angry and disgusted. Won't be back. And we'll be sure to tell all of our friends. Think it's time for a policy change from the management because it's crap like that that will drive customers away! read more
