Ground keepers are not organized and ready for people's burial. They had the dirt piled up directly next to the gravesite that my Aunt was being buried at. Covered with artificial grass. That same dirt was covering my grandmother's gravesite and my father's gravesite. All three sites were purchased at the same time so it was on record that all three of these people were in direct relation. My Grandmother was the mother of my Father and Aunt. This was in the Saint Bernard's section of Ocean View Cemetery. Which is the Catholic Churches located in Eureka Ca, and also belong to the same diocese that goes all the way down to Santa Rosa, Ca.

We paid for the cremation and a box for the ashes on Friday. Monday we had a private family viewing and he was to be cremated (we were told) soon thereafter. On Wednesday they called as the check was mis-written by my distraught mother. We drove in immediately and gave them the additional $200. I am so upset with myself that I didn't ask if they had cremated Dad at that time..... We were so busy getting a memorial together and contacting people.... I just thought the funeral home was doing what they were supposed to do. On Saturday after the memorial I found out Dad was still at Sanders in a refrigerator.... I was so upset. I sat on the phone on hold for 10 minutes waiting to talk to someone.... .... Of course, no one came back on the line. I sobbed all night and went to Sanders on Sunday to talk to someone.... although the cars were there no one answered the door. Today is Monday. Still no call from Sanders.... Courtesy would dictate that they would call. They certainly had no problems finding my number when they wanted money. Shame. I cannot express how disturbing this is ..... I'm not sure I'll ever get over it. I hope my Mom never finds out. The people seemed so nice..... This poor service adds heartbreak to heartbreak. I didn't think I could be sadder.
