Since I was out of town then wouldn't file a police report without me being physically present. Uh? Less work for them! Then when I got back into town they FOUND MY CAR a few blocks away, but were going to CHARGE ME FOR THE TOWING/STORAGE. Yep. You steal my car, the police "can't" investigate because I'm out of town and then when the car is found they want me to pay. The officer talked to his supervisor but there is "nothing we can do." Also I did not have insurance since the car was being "stored." And this is "justice?" No, this is capitalism and greed and whoever heard of not taking a police report since I wasn't there to sign the paperwork! The people who stole my car 100 percent got away with it. At mim the police need to work something out with the people who store/tow cars. The last thing thing that should happen is the "victim" should be expected to pay.

Have for years, always with the same group of people helping you through the process, always professional, friendly and kind. For an experience most folks dread almost as much as having a tooth pulled, our county clerks make it about as painless as can be. 8:30 am check in is the toughest part by far, once inside the juror selection room things move fairly quickly all considering that literally every person in the room just wants to get out of there. Fill out their paperwork, after about enough time for them to review it all - here comes the call, one by one those released and you obligation as a citizen has been met once more. Once again never selected, so until next year when we repeat this civic duty all over again. 4 Stars - for a rural county in northern California it moves pretty quick. 00671

When contacted about this issue in person they mentioned it was a first time exception. Phew! I don't want to make that mistake again! Good luck hunting for rare gems.

She is a light of sunshine, kind, creative, supportive, and very helpful. Her optimism and positivity is priceless. Our County of Humboldt is lucky to have her. The children's area has opened ended play and nature inspired stations friendly for young children. We love the new playground however I wish there was a way to close the gate because it is open to the street and people drive fast through that curved corner. In addition, there are sometimes men sitting at the table but they don't have any children with them. Sometimes this makes me feel uncomfortable as a mom with young kiddos.
