After more…read morethan 20 years of raising a family and running a business that accumulated years of props, design pieces, and supplies, the thought of tackling it was completely overwhelming. I finally decided to take a chance and hire Nancy, and I can't tell you what a great decision that was. She's an expert organizer with 20 years of experience, but just as importantly, she has this wonderfully calm energy that makes the whole process feel positive--and somehow even enjoyable. Since then, I've hired her to help me tackle 20+ years of clothing, multiple closets, and now my son's closet. She's so good I keep thinking, "What else can I possibly hire Nancy to organize?" What I didn't expect was how much lighter I would feel afterward. Having less and knowing where everything is has genuinely given me a greater sense of peace and clarity. Hiring someone to help with something I technically could do myself initially felt like a bit of a luxury, but after experiencing the difference it has made, I can honestly say Nancy has been worth the investment.

It's hard to pin down exactly what Nancy Meck's expertise is--because she seems to do everything…read more On paper, she's the master of bringing order to chaos, whether it's a cluttered closet, an out-of-control kitchen, that dreaded junk room, or an entire house. But reducing her to just an organizer would be missing the point entirely. Nancy first came to our home when my wife was juggling too many projects at once and feeling frustrated by the lack of progress. I sure as hell wasn't going to be the one to make sense of it all. Enter Nancy. She didn't just tidy up--she reimagined our space. First, she tackled the office in a way we never would have considered. Then the kitchen. Then the closet. By the time she was done, she probably knew where everything was in our house better than we did. But that was just the warm-up. Fast forward to our international move. The smartest decision we made? Bringing Nancy in to quarterback the whole thing. She handled everything--coordinating realtors, hiring movers, clearing out what we weren't taking--while somehow making an overwhelming process feel completely manageable. But Nancy's real superpower isn't just her ability to organize. It's the confidence she instills in everyone around her. She's unshakable. In all the time I've known her, I've never seen her frustrated or frazzled. When Nancy's involved, stress just doesn't stand a chance.

What could have been a heart wrenching weekend of agony instead was a day of glad good work. YMS should be a bucket-list experience for everyone.

I also work from home and receive quite a few packages for my business. I had no system of organization that made sense, my house constantly felt like a state of mayhem. I desperately needed help! Working with Bring Delight was so mind-opening. We started with my clothing which was a huge undertaking. I got rid of easily 15+ trash bags of clothing/shoes/bags. Not only does she help to sort through the things you own and find what sparks joy, but she then helps to put it back in an organized way that makes sense and functions. So not only did she help purge, but she's also an incredible organizer! She taught me how to fold the KonMari way as well and now keep it up with every load of laundry. Things are tidy, organized and I LOVE getting dressed now. No more "I hate my closet" even though it was packed to the brim with stuff. It's now a well-curated boutique of my favorite pieces. It's also meant I shop less, not because I feel like I have to not shop, but because I don't feel like I need more things. When your closet is more simplified you're happier with the items that are there. We worked on the other categories for KonMari making my way through every bit of my home. All in all, I think I got rid of 30+ bags of things, trash, donations, etc. My home is organized and will always be because this method is truly one you do all the time so it never falls apart again. I can not recommend Kinga enough. My home feels peaceful, calm and organized. She's a miracle worker!

I spent eight months off and on trying to get that loving feeling with my own space. Finally, one Saturday I figured I needed professional help. :) I did tons of research for an organizer and came across Kinga's company. I had a hunch she was the one. I hired her and the rest is history. To give you an example of what I couldn't figure out on my own, when we were going through clothes -- and I am a fast decision-maker -- I got stuck on an item and couldn't decide do I keep it or do I donate it? She said, "Do you see this in your new future life?" Immediately the answer was no. Since that time I work regularly with Kinga on styling clothing, organizing my computer photos, and emails and anything else I find where I have been stuck. She unsticks me and frees my mind. I learned when you clear your space, you clear your mind.

DON'T JUST SHOP, GET EDUCATED!…read more I decided to visit this store because I wanted a larger inventory of flooring products. They had a nice collection of carpets, wood, tile and porcelain options. I just love being able to go to the store and try out the products and experience them as I would in my home. So I kick off my shoes and lay it on the floor and walk on it. How else do you do it? There was plenty of room available to explore and I love having a work table to rest my bag and notebook. Sometimes I take notes but I allowed my husband to do most of the listening as I shopped. Although I like to do research before visiting the store, I still like to ask questions because the employees may have different answers based on their direct experience with clients. For example, one product that my husband liked at a previous store was ruled out here due to complaints about its tendency to become easily soiled and another was ruled out due to its poor performance in high traffic areas. Gene was very knowledgeable about the carpet and he helped us to really narrow our choices. Shopping for carpet is simply overwhelming and we are easily going into our second month of trying to make a decision. It is not just about the carpet, you need to know about their installation process as well. If there is an imperfection that is found in the sub-floor after the carpet is removed, With Dalton Flooring Outlet, I can easily work directly with the contractor to have it addressed. My neighbor was not able to do this with his installers due to company policy. Instead of correcting those issues, they were literally covered up. You must consider "worse case scenario" so that all possible issues can be addressed prior to the install. Some stores are very rigid and if it is not spelled out in the contract, you might have a problem. They have a very nice selection of porcelain tile and planks. However, they have only one very trusted tile guy and he will not be available for another six to nine months. Apparently, you can easily run into this problem if you want porcelain because a different carpet store stated that porcelain is just not that popular so they did not have anyone who could install it even though they sold it. Beware because this could present a problem down the road if you need to have a piece replaced or repaired. We picked out a couple of porcelain samples that we would like to try in our home and they will be shipped to us at no cost. We were also able to take home a couple of their carpet samples for review as well. ***Remember, if you don't do the research, you will not be able to ask intelligent questions and you won't really understand what they are telling you. It is also easier to rule out and rule in certain options.
