While my dad was getting his knee treated (which only took a couple of sessions and afterwards he…read moresaid the treated knee felt better than the other knee lol), I learned that Emily the owner also specializes in pelvic health. I did pelvic floor PT after giving birth and experienced how big a difference that made, so with some new issues that's bothering me for a while I decided to give it another try. It was the best thing I did for myself this year. Emily fixed the muscles that are not in good shape, helped me get into good stretching routines and suggested how to modify my home office set up to avoid the problem in the future (we thought the cause was bad sitting posture from working from home....). All that's to say with 2 months of work I'm in a good shape in a sustainable way and that makes me so happy. Emily has such a calm and warm manner, I always found my visits relaxing and recharging. Aaron at the front desk is very friendly and easy to work with. They also only have 3 therapists that don't work at the same time, so the facility was never so busy as some other PT facilities I've been to. Maybe the only thing to note is their hours vary from day to day (very friendly to working ppl). So if nobody answers the phone, maybe try a different time. Pelvic floor issues are so easily overlooked yet they impact the body so much. Everyone deserves a good pelvic floor therapist!

I have worked with 4 PT offices through the course of my injury, and Rush PT is by far the best. They truly listen to what your pain and needs are, individualize and progress your program as you see improvement, and help you structure safe workouts outside of the office. I have been dealing with chronic pain, sciatica, numbness, and tingling from a herniated disc and stenosis for over a year and a half, and I am finally making significant progress. The manual tissue massages and dry needling are incredibly helpful. I was on the verge of getting surgery, but now I am confident I don't need it. As a 23 year old, I finally have hope that my back pain can heal and remain healthy--all thanks to Rush Evanston PT!

I had neck and shoulder pain and the adjustments that were made by Dr. J and the exercises that Liz and Jacob taught me will go a long way to the improvement of my life. Not quite finished yet but the professionalism and attention to detail are fantastic.

I was referred to Dr. J. McCrackan for scoliosis and gait problems from an injury and neuropathy…read morefrom an autoimmune condition. I received 30 minute treatments once a week. During mid November 2023, Dr. McCrackan adjusted my left foot many times. That very same day he had someone from his office call me and cancel future appointments until I had a reevaluation. The reevaluation occurred two weeks later, and he told me that I "was too messed up below the knees for him to work on, that it would take a long time to rehab my foot, and that he would only work on my back moving forward." My physical therapist discovered that my left heel was displaced to the left and that there appeared to be some disjointment in the foot. I am continuing to work on rehabbing the foot in physical therapy. Dr. McCrackan had also referred me to his associate for an orthotic fitting.I was instructed to break in the orthotics according to a certain schedule. Attempting to do this with an injured foot appears to have exacerbated my injury. Dr. McCrackan had not communicated my injury to Dr. Fergus prior to my orthotic fitting. Their website states that the average cost for a 30 minute appointment is between 88 -150 dollars. A number of my charges were over $200. I was charged $50 and more for one PT exercise. Reviews were solicited early on in treatment. The responses to my complaints about my injury and about the charges seemed defensive and uncaring about both concerns. I regret having sought treatment at Cornerstone.

I was not surprised when I looked under the hood to find ATI is private equity owned. The employees in Evanston are great, but when they tried to get visibility on how much visits would cost, it was an incredibly arduous process. When I finally received what I thought to be reasonable guidance, I proceeded but was told I wouldn't know for sure the exact bill until weeks later. When I saw my bill, the sticker shock was terrifying. Had I known what some sessions would cost, I certainly would not have been able to afford and would not have sought service here. Perhaps this dynamic was in play from the beginning and is why they don't make it easy to understand a general range of what service might cost. When I finally got on the phone with someone to discuss my bill, I was offered a 5% concession, then a 10% concession, then a 15% concession - rather than fixing my bill that was 200% higher than what I was led to believe. My heart breaks for others in similar situations and I hope healthcare gets the regulation and oversight it deserves to provide consumers with price visibility - especially for private equity owned businesses.

What really sets this place apart is not just the quality of care, but the energy and personality of the staff, they strike a perfect balance between professionalism and making each visit enjoyable. I was also lucky enough to experience the fun, playful side of the team. From their creative dry erase board polls to their fully committed construction-themed Halloween setup which, in my opinion, absolutely mogged the other offices (not even close) they created an atmosphere that made coming in something to look forward to. The occasional "jam session" moments just added to the positive, upbeat vibe. Especially when Tate McRae was cranked up to volume 12, I felt unstoppable! As for the care itself, Emma, Christine, and Jose were exceptional. They truly listened to my concerns about my lower back pain and guided me through every step with clarity and expertise. Their knowledge and attention to detail made my decision to come here feel like a no-brainer. The facility is clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything needed for effective treatment. I especially want to highlight the dry needling, it was a complete game changer. I only wish I had started it sooner, as it provided significantly more relief than stretching or traditional PT alone. Within a short time, I noticed a major improvement in both my pain and mobility. Overall, the care is top-notch, the staff is incredibly professional (while still keeping things fun), and I can't recommend this place enough.
