My cousin reintroduced me to stand up paddle boarding last summer! My first experience was at the…read moreShilshole Bay Marina in Ballard and that was not the greatest experience. So after last summer I started looking for my own inflatable stand up paddle board. I was skeptical with the ones on amazon/Costco/Dick's/ etc. It was either put down at least $1k for a good one (paddle sold separately for $100 and up) or take your chance on a lower quality one. While searching letgo, I searched for a inflatable SUP and saw Parker Paddle Sports ad for their SUP. I checked out their website for more information. They are based here in Kirkland, that was a sign for me as I always try to support local. The SUP kit comes with a air pump, repair kit in a bright orange waterproof container, paddle with adjustable height, bottom fin for steering that snaps in on the bottom. Tim, the owner, greeted me outside his home. He had inflated a board for demonstration. He showed me how to inflate and deflate the board. Went through all the components that came with the bundle and explained how the boards were structured. I inflated mine at a near by park and it was super easy to inflate (under 10 for me, I get distracted easy). It's a bit heavy at around 20lbs with everything in the backpack. What's keeping me from giving 5 stars is I'm bummed about the backpack and lack of leash. The backpack kinda feels cheap and I hope that it will hold up with the use I will be putting it through. There is a leash connector on the board and I wish a leash came with it to be a complete beginners SUP. I'm a huge fan of Parker Paddle Sports. I can't wait to pursue family and friends to join me and send them here to get their own board!

100% everything. High quality, easy to use and great board for the price…read more Our family could not be happier with this board. Husband, dogs and myself are all having a great summer out on the water. Highly recommend.

Evo Seattle is my home store, and honestly, I'm just so grateful they're here. I've bought two sets…read moreof skis, two pairs of boots, and way too much outerwear and base layers here over the years, so I've spent a lot of time in the shop. The selection is huge, but it's really the people that keep me coming back. The shop team is awesome and they actually listen. If something isn't feeling right with your gear, they're super open to feedback and want to make it right. Matt, the shop manager, is the man. He's incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with. It makes a huge difference going into a season knowing your gear was handled by people who care. I also have to give a massive shoutout to Caesar, who helped me with a boot fit recently. I can't say enough good things about him. He sat there and listened to every single complaint I had about my old boots and didn't stop until we found the perfect pair. We tried on at least four different sets, and he was so patient through the whole process. What I appreciated most was how honest he was about the tradeoffs between different fits. He explained exactly what I should be looking for and how to adjust them on the fly. He moved me from a "beginner" comfort fit into a performance boot that feels worlds better on the snow. I really hope he's still there when I'm ready for my next pair, but honestly, with how good he is, he'll probably be running the company by then. Whether you're just starting out or you've been skiing for years, go to Evo. They have the perfect mix of being approachable but also knowing exactly what they're talking about.

Sure they have a awesome selection of ski related things, and we did just get new boots here, and rentals for the kiddo, and all that on top of the value, prices were great and while not the cheapest, if you actually go take your gear up even just a few times, it's honestly one of the best offers in the area. So, you need worry, the experts are here.

Bad customer experience with the bike repair service at the Bellevue DICK'S Sporting Goods store…read more I bought a bike for my son from Dick's store along with a 3-year protection plan that includes repairs and tune-ups. I dropped off the bike on May 7, 2026 for a simple flat tire repair in the Bellevue store, and even after more than 16 days, the repair is still not completed. My son has missed riding with his friends during some of the few sunny days we get here in Redmond, WA. For over 14 days, the store kept saying they were waiting for a tire tube from the manufacturer. Then, 2 days ago, the store representative said their purchase order shows "complete," but they still have not received the tire tube. The only options provided were: 1. Continue waiting with no estimated completion date, or 2. Take the bike back unrepaired. I also contacted customer service and requested escalation to the store manager. Unfortunately, the store manager never spoke to me directly and instead had another employee repeat the same automated responses without providing any real resolution. Very disappointing experience, especially after purchasing the protection plan expecting reliable service and support.
