Unfortunately recently we had to plan my cousins services right after Christmas so we contacted Caggianos again. They were again very helpful and kind...Then the most terrible situation happened, eight days after my cousin suddenly passed my sister also passed away suddenly and tragically. Not only was Michael and Pat and all the workers here so helpful, they offered us their unwavering support through this entire process. We ultimately decided to have all the services for both family members within a three day period. Michael and Pat were there for us from beginning to end. We couldn't have had more perfect people to help us during the worst time of our lives. It is impossible to explain my sincerest gratitude and appreciation for everything they did for us. They felt like family and they treated us that way. I've never felt so taken care of by people who we didn't know well before these tragedies. Our limo driver Joe was also so kind and helpful throughout the day. We were all in such a daze and had such a hard time getting through everything. Without their support and love I don't think we would have made it through the way that we did. I can't say enough good things about this funeral home and the people who work here. This review doesn't even do them justice. Thinking about how supportive they were beings tears to my eyes. I hope whoever is seeing this review decides to use Caggianos during their time of sorrow.

My all family lives in Poland, only my in USA. I could not go to funeral, but I decided that her final resting place and service must signify the appreciation I had of him in a way that only Isabela Van Tassel could've provided. This is message to all people who can't go to funeral outside the country, is always a way to do this here, but I recommended- you need a good person to help you. Izabela helped me a lot. Although it was a very difficult time for me, Van Tassel Funeral provided me with the comfort and peace of mind I desperately needed. Thank you so much to everyone who made my Father transition into eternal peace dignified and admirable.

She made sure my mother's hair and nails were done, picked out a beautiful dress for her and even put a flag up that represented where my mother was from. The whole service was beautiful and my family commented on how nice the funeral home and the setup was. I'm so thankful my family and I were able to have this funeral home host the service for my mother and especially to Izabela for taking such good care of my mother and for her professionalism.

The death of our loved one, who was only 31 years old, came unexpectedly. We certainly wanted to find a dignified place to say our last goodbyes and this one was recommended to us by another member of our family whom we trust. Nick Grillo worked with us from start to finish to make sure we were satisfied in every aspect. The establishment itself was beautiful and clean. It was wonderful to know we'd have the entire vicinity to ourselves and our mourning guests. We were all able to grieve peacefully, share memories and say our last goodbyes while Rob, a member of the staff, continuously kept us up to date and ensured the beautifully-made obituary cards were always stocked for the guests. We chose to cremate our loved one and were given his ashes a few days after the funeral. He was informative and pleasant about the pending questions we had during our final meeting. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to give their loved ones a final service that is graceful, peaceful and dignified. Sending love and appreciation on behalf Omar S.'s family.

Since Martin's is the only funeral home I was familiar with and couldn't otherwise think clearly, I immediately called Martin's to make arrangements for my father on the day he passed away. I don't want to mention any names, but the person who organized my father's service was extremely brash. When meeting with her to make the arrangements, I did not like her attitude at all. It was almost like it was a huge inconvenience to her because we asked for a later funeral service (6 pm-7:30 pm) but I begrudgingly moved forward with organizing my father's service. I'd like to add that her words were, "It's late, but I'll make it happen." On the day of the service, I was saying my last words to my father, and the woman interrupted my speech. She also struggled to run the Zoom service which was very distracting because she did not know what she was doing. I was later informed that friends and family came at around 7:00 pm to catch the last half hour of the service, and she locked them out and would not let them in. Then at 7:15, she made an announcement, "It's time for y'all to leave. Thank you!" I couldn't believe all of this was happening. I was embarrassed and upset. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. If the organizer did not want us to have the service at 6 pm, she should have made that clear instead of saying she will "make it happen," then treating my family and friends the way she did.

Her death was hard enough without even considering the logistics of an American memorial service, let alone the logistics of sending her across the world. Francis made it easy. I'm not even sure how to emphasize my last sentence. He handled everything down to the last detail. All I had to provide was money, photos, and some family details. It was shockingly easy, to the point where I think the hardest part was selecting photos/prayer cards/etc. He arranged with our funeral home in Manila. The facility is very modern but still traditional. The service was top notch, with every small request accommodated with ease. If you know how Filipinos are, then you would know how he runs his business. I felt like he took care to treat us like we were his own family. The only thing I would have done differently, had I known, would have been to use his Philippine service. Our family abroad uses a different funeral home but I found out after arrangements had already been made that his wife handles the Philippine end (the have a Zuasola funeral home there) and we could have used his family's services. His three children also work in the business. They are apparently the only Filipino funeral home and I couldn't be luckier that he was close to where I live. God blessed our family! Thank you!!!
