One thing I really appreciated was that they allowed us to browse on our own and pull any dresses that caught my eye. There was never any pressure, and it made the experience feel relaxed and fun. Once I had a few favorites, they helped me narrow them down while still giving us plenty of space and privacy to talk everything through. What stood out most was how much they paid attention to each bride. I always felt like the experience was in my hands, but I also felt completely supported by their knowledge and expertise. They knew exactly when to offer guidance, answer questions, point out details I hadn't noticed, and explain how alterations could transform each dress. Everyone was incredibly patient, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have us there. You could truly feel that they wanted you to enjoy the experience, take your time, and find the dress that was right for you. A huge shoutout to Taryn for being the perfect person to guide us through such a special experience. I ended up torn between two dresses, so we went well over our appointment time. Not once did I feel rushed. Instead, Taryn was so patient, encouraging, and genuinely wanted me to take my time and find the dress. That meant so much to me. I left feeling so happy, and it's a memory I'll always cherish. Thank you to Brides for a Cause in Phoenix for making dress shopping such a wonderful experience and Taryn!! And for my fellow savvy brides--if you're looking for a gorgeous dress at an amazing price, this is the place. Their selection is beautiful, and the value is incredible. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

They do tours and you can also rent the spaces for events. I looked and they have really interesting volunteer opportunities with very reasonable time commitments.

I googled Bird Sanctuary near me and Liberty Wildlife Rehab popped up. Luckily they were open until 6, so we were able to make it over there. We took our little baby birdie to the rescue window. The kindest lady came and placed him in a little box and then took him back to a baby bird nursery room. She came back and she was just so sweet and I knew the little bird would be just fine with these people. In the area behind here she had huge rescued birds behind her. 3 were vultures. And 3 other huge birds were there too just hanging out on there perches. No cages just chilling. And then a goat came up outside the window, to peek in and say hello. Just a wonderful place, where I am going to be donating to monthly so they can keep up their good work and continue to keep there Rescue Intake Window open!! Please visit their website and Pop by to visit the amazing grounds and bring your kids. It is truly beautiful.

Appreciate the lockers for my personal belongings at the presentation area. The rest of the steps and assembly lines were just the way I remembered it. I volunteered at a new station this time, which I very much enjoyed. Totally got a bicep workout out of it. Thank you, FMSC, for a meaningful experience and wonderful memories all these years!

We arrived about 15 minutes prior to our 9am shift and there were several groups there as well. We were brought into the large room where the market is located (more in a moment on this) and found lockers to lock our things up (you can't wear hoop earrings, rings, necklaces, etc.). They give you small plastic baggies to put your stuff in; you are also required to wear a hair net and men with facial hair was also required to wear a beard net. We watched a couple of videos that explained what we would be packing and where it was shipped to as well as specifics for the actual packing station. It is so rewarding to know that these Mano Packs are shipped to countries where children suffer greatly from malnutrition. At the end they actually give you a sample of what we packed. It was like a savory oatmeal and included rice, protein, a mixture of dehydrated veggies and a scoop of powdered vitamins and nutrients. It was good actually. We were at a packing station with some others including children and once everyone decided on which job we wanted to do, after a few minutes and bags, we found our packing rhythm. They have a very precise method to the packing of these meal bags and with music, cheering, etc...the two hours flew by! If you are looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity, check them out. We are going back for a second time and I think we'll make this one of our regular volunteer opportunities. Staff working is great and helpful and so passionate about the work they are doing! The marketplace includes crafts made by the people of the different villages around the world. We learned that not only are the families given food packets but they are also signed up for resources and employment opportunities and everything else in an effort to make their lives better. The marketplace is amazing!
