Whoever is giving good reviews to this place must be a friend or family. The food is subpar to say the least. Bisque is nothing but fat and the pork is like dry jerky. The sides are okay but served cold. The staff is nice enough but no table service. Ambiance is country flair but can get crowded with a lot people. The food was gnarly. The mac and cheese was STRAIGHT from the box. Very bland and lacked any type of seasoning. The potato salad was straight out of the jug from the Sysco truck. Do NOT judge the place by the way it looks on the outside. The inside looks like a perfectly normal sports bar once you get in. It gets better from there. The menu is huge. It's more like a restaurant menu than a sports bar menu. Food is great! Everything we got (family of 5) was excellent. Service was perfect. Bathrooms looked a little old but were clean enough and didn't stink. We plan on stopping by every chance we get on our way to/from Florida on our vacation. read more

Visiting from Atlanta, GA to see family, and this is literally the WORST BBQ I've ever had in my LIFE. First they brung my food out COLD, and not room temperature cold, it had to be practically taken out a refrigerator COLD ! The waitress took it back and when it came back it was still barely hot so I'm assuming they just threw it in the microwave. The brisket was fatty, overcooked and lacked flavor. The chicken wasn't fresh and the ribs were sub par at best. The "chunky potato salad was horrible, and the Cole slaw was mediocre. The best part about the meal was the baked beans. This place might not look like much on the outside but this is a hidden gem. We were driving through town and wound up stopping here. This was the best food we had on our whole trip. We split the cheese curds (best we've had ANYWHERE) and I got the shrimp po boy with sweet potato fries and marshmallow dip and my mom got the ribeye sandwich with the sweet potato fries and marshmallow dip. We always like to support local businesses while traveling, but are often apprehensive about what we will find at unfamiliar restaurants. We stopped here for lunch on our way to the beach and were not disappointed! We were just passing through on our way home to Missouri and needed lunch so I checked Yelp and first on the list was this place. If you're reading this I know you're already considering it so do yourself a favor and just go already lol. We got ribs, pulled pork, & the brisket. They all three tasted amazing. None of the meat was dry or chewy, moist with good smoked flavor (which didn't all taste alike so that was nice). I had the red beans and rice and baked beans. The baked beans were pretty typical (which is good, nothing new though), and the red beans and rice were tasty to. My boyfriend had the potato salad and said it was good, just like homemade. This is a tiny little place but don't let it fool you. The drinks are self service. You order your food at the window where they immediately serve it up. If we are ever around the area again I'll for sure be back. Oh, and the ladies that were at the window-couldn't have better service. read more

Really good bbq! Best in town! Never disappoints! Unfortunately the steak house portion of this building can not boast the same. Was really excited to try the new bar area and new menu! Had great service at the bar and ordered the filet. The meat was rancid to the point you could smell it and when it was brought back to the kitchen you could here some one shout ewe! We were traveling home from the beach and decided to stop here based on reviews. There is a counter area to order your food and then it's self service drinks. There were a bunch of what appeared to be teenagers or early 20's working the register and making the plates. They didn't acknowledge us when we walked in or ask if we had any questions or needed help. It wasn't hard to figure out. The menus on the wall. My husband and I both had the pulled pork plates. I had slaw and mustard potato salad with mine and he had baked beans and chunky potato salad with his. Two of our girls got the stuffed baked potatoes and the other two girls got mamas nachos. The nachos are not traditional as they are served on Doritos & the cheese was shredded on top and melted to the Styrofoam box that they came in. The potatoes were far from stuffed as they had a pat of butter and shredded cheese sprinkled on top with a dollop of sour cream somewhere on there as well, not enough toppings to cover the potato that was supposed to be "stuffed". My husband and I enjoyed both of our potato salads, slaw, baked beans & even the barbecue sauce. Unfortunately, the pork to me was dried out and my husband said it tasted to him like it had been frozen and reheated. I have to say that we are from Memphis so our taste in & expectations of BBQ may be different than some of the locals. All in all the food was just OK, probably won't stop here again. read more
