It may seem odd to give a gas station 5 stars, but I just ate some of the most tasty food to be found in a VERY rural area. I also would have never guessed what a bustling business this little place would be! Husband and I stopped in for a quick snack a little after noon. I opted for a 3 PC chicken tender with a side of potato wedges. Coming from someone who has eaten a lot of gas station food over the years, this place was DELICIOUS! The chicken tenders incredibly juicy, and I don't know what it was but those potato wedges were superb! Maybe the type of potato? Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, yet still moist and tasty on the inside. Husband ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and gobbled it up! Yes, it was greasy, but isn't that the beauty of a gas station burger?! All burgers/sandwiches were made to order right there where you can stand an watch with hand shaped burger patties.
