It's a small shop, and cramped inside, but that is central to its charm in my opinion, they're not trying to be anything they're not, and I've always received great information in response to the myriad questions I usually have when the time calls for a trip to the hardware store. He did so from across the room, and before I could respond, I was interrupted by one of his friends who dropped by. (okay, it's covered) Three different paints and colours were sprayed onto our bare cement retaining wall. Counter guy explained about primer - and he tinted the primer so it blends with the bare cement tone. (we had done the power wash!) Set me up with the correct fluffy roller sleeve, and paint tray liner. I've just finished covering the graffiti and it looks fabulous. Staff here really know their product. I've purchased paint here in the past, but this time I needed specialty stuff, and they provided top product and advice. Now we will paint colourful flowers on the cement. Take that, taggers! On my last visit I was asked no fewer than *eight* times if I needed any assistance. Once was appreciated (although I didn't need help), second was sweet, third was grating. And then I was just annoyed by the last five. Although I like the idea of a local helpful store, being fawned over as a customer is uncomfortable. I'm sad writing this review -- I do appreciate well-executed customer service but I can't handle the pre-programmed, robotic, and sickly sweet questioning at Blight's.
