My experience at this school has been extremely disappointing due to the discrimination I witnessed…read moreand experienced. One of the staff members, Natalie Ramirez, consistently displayed bias and discriminatory behavior. She openly favored Hispanic students while making demeaning, inappropriate, and racist remarks toward Black students. Instead of encouraging and uplifting students equally, she would put down girls of color and create an environment that felt hostile and unsafe. No student should ever feel belittled, disrespected, or treated differently because of their race or background. Nursing is a profession rooted in compassion, respect, and equality--values that were not upheld in this program. I share this review not out of malice, but because future students deserve to know what they may encounter and because institutions of education must be held accountable for ensuring a fair and inclusive environment for all.

I was shouted at, condescended to, and treated like I was a burden just for calling to confirm my withdrawal and refund ,something any school should professionally handle. Instead of helping, I was told, "Why are you even calling if you already emailed Admissions?" with pure attitude and zero respect. The tone, the aggression, the lack of basic courtesy... it was completely unprofessional and borderline hostile. I've never been treated like this by any educational institution. Students deserve to be acknowledged and spoken to with dignity. This is a nursing school!how can they teach care and compassion when they treat their own students like this? I made the right decision withdrawing. And if you're considering this school, please think twice. The way they talk to you after they take your money says it all. They are rude, unhelpful, and full of attitude.

Absolutely AWFUL experience. The class was good. But we were told that once we applied for a…read morelicense, the process with the board of nursing would take 3 weeks. They also stated that if we had any issues to give them a call and they will help move things along. I have checked every day for 3 1/2 months now on the NJ board of nursing sight and my application is STILL pending! And yes, I made sure everything required is uploaded. I have called the Board of Nursing at least 20 times to check on the status and to escalate the issue but still have gotten no answers, except that the licenses usually take 3 months. So lie #1 from E&S! I called E&S and left a message for a call back. I called again this morning since no one called me back. The gentleman I spoke to said there was nothing he can do, and that the people that can help me at E&S are having staffing issues so he has no clue if or when someone will call me to help. Lie #2....It seems like all they care about is taking your money. If you are really interested in going into the medical field, try another school. This one isn't worth the time or money.

We are all very happy with the ability to take the training online, when we were available as some of us were working. The teacher at South Plainfield that taught the clinicals was very helpful. I highly recommend E&S.

Student who have graduated from this program are very successful in the profession and develop strong clinical skills which sets them apart from other programs. I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone searching for a nursing school.

I'll be the first to review, when I researched this school in FASA, the graduation was 100% no retention or transfer, but all lies apart, I didn't even finish my finals, because anyway I failed, and came late in my first exame they make up. I live in NY, reality is traffic and accidents happen in every human life, but they don't care, making no sense according to advise even to try the finals, before that happen I desperately looked for any kind of help, advice, anything, just try harder next test, there no quizzes or any kind of mental stimulation or practical knowledge. If you lost your first test or came late, just drop right there, at least you get some money back, because my first test I was late and could not finish so I was done. They don't care, don't give a chance to finish or make another again, if you work or have any other problem is your problem like everything else. There is $1440,00 only for Tech fee, so you get IPAD Mini that doesn't cost even $300,00 so they don't have the work to correct the tests all give by EXAMSOFT. The cost for freshmen is $6691,00 first trimester only. Many others that also fail will try again next year, they said that we have to learn by ourselves, disappointed to find that, why am I paying almost $10.000,00 if I have to teach myself? Dont expect to even learn phlebotomy in your RN, they are not responsible! Clinicals are OK, but if you graduate your employer wants your certification, besides all students in my class at least 80% including myself have already experience in the hospital set. There is no difference from Community College, so judge by yourself if work pays this extra money, more nobody makes any kind of criticism because they have to come back and finish, we are trapped there. Most students like me come a board with big loans, and they have come from other Colleges just trying to finish this "TWO YEARS" nursing degree.

There are a plethora of schools to choose from within NYC so I always find it best to do some research, go on Campus and meet with advisors. I was warmly greeted when both calling and going to the Allen School. The Advisors seemed to really care about what my interests are, what I was looking to transition from and to and what my educational goals are. Was very happy with my initial experience of the school and look forward to a continuing relationship.

I came and spoke to Ms. Hunter about enrolling in classes. I passed my entrance exam with flying colors and enrolled in their four-week course. I paid off my tuition before classes started. Something came over me before starting that kept saying "I'm going to be a failure" and that I shouldn't bother to go. I called the school to cancel and spoke with Ms. Zabida. She was very strong and shocked about my statement and said she was going to have Ms Hunter call me. I spoke to my husband who told me that a quitter won't win and a winner never quits. Soon after Joy gave me a call and said "Ms. Bucknor you can't quit, you have to reach your goal." I then spoke with one of the directors, Robert. Rob gave me some great advice and we ended the discussion with "Happy Holiday and I will be seeing you on campus next week." It made me so happy to speak with them. The nervousness did not go away because it was a long time since I sat in a classroom chair. I even had difficulty sleeping. But, with the help of my classmates and my instructor Ms. July I succeeded and completed the program with an A average! I want to thank my teacher, classmates, and husband for all the support. Thank you Allen School. I think it is the place to be and if I can do it you will. Thank you all.
