I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone searching for a nursing school.

I'll be the first to review, when I researched this school in FASA, the graduation was 100% no retention or transfer, but all lies apart, I didn't even finish my finals, because anyway I failed, and came late in my first exame they make up. I live in NY, reality is traffic and accidents happen in every human life, but they don't care, making no sense according to advise even to try the finals, before that happen I desperately looked for any kind of help, advice, anything, just try harder next test, there no quizzes or any kind of mental stimulation or practical knowledge. If you lost your first test or came late, just drop right there, at least you get some money back, because my first test I was late and could not finish so I was done. They don't care, don't give a chance to finish or make another again, if you work or have any other problem is your problem like everything else. There is $1440,00 only for Tech fee, so you get IPAD Mini that doesn't cost even $300,00 so they don't have the work to correct the tests all give by EXAMSOFT. The cost for freshmen is $6691,00 first trimester only. Many others that also fail will try again next year, they said that we have to learn by ourselves, disappointed to find that, why am I paying almost $10.000,00 if I have to teach myself? Dont expect to even learn phlebotomy in your RN, they are not responsible! Clinicals are OK, but if you graduate your employer wants your certification, besides all students in my class at least 80% including myself have already experience in the hospital set. There is no difference from Community College, so judge by yourself if work pays this extra money, more nobody makes any kind of criticism because they have to come back and finish, we are trapped there. Most students like me come a board with big loans, and they have come from other Colleges just trying to finish this "TWO YEARS" nursing degree.

I must say it was not always smooth sailing, but no place is perfect. My professors held me accountable for doing my part, they are smart, dedicated and approachable. I have put in the work that my professors set out for me, as every student should, and accomplished what I set out to do. See for yourself, and remember this is a school that is preparing you to have a professional career, think critically and make wise choices In life, if this is not your goal then, this is not the school for you. Nursing is a vocation, it's not a walk in the park. With self discipline, hard work and perseverance you can have your degree at St. Paul's School of Nursing In several months.

As a current student, I feel it's important to share some concerns about the way this school treats…read moreits students. Recently, we received an email stating that students are not permitted to enter classrooms before the scheduled class time so that instructors can "prepare the learning environment." However, in reality, many professors arrive exactly at the start time or even after class is supposed to begin. Meanwhile, students are expected to stand in hallways or find somewhere else to go even when we arrive early after work to study. The only alternative spaces are the library or cafeteria, both of which have very limited seating. It feels unreasonable to pay out of pocket for an education and not even be allowed to sit in an empty classroom while waiting. We then received another email about elevator use, which is understandable for accessibility reasons. However, the message stated that misuse could result in parent/guardian contact. This is a school of adults, and many of us are parents ourselves. Including language like that clearly shows how little the administration thinks of its students and reinforces the feeling that we are treated like children rather than responsible adults paying for a professional education. Another major concern is the lack of respect and support from some faculty members. For example, Professor Jayne Kier is extremely unapproachable. Students feel uncomfortable asking questions because responses are often sarcastic, dismissive, or met with long, intimidating stares. There is little guidance provided, yet students are made to feel as though they are wrong for seeking help. This creates a stressful and discouraging learning environment. Lastly, it often feels like students cannot safely voice concerns. When issues are brought up to administration, they are dismissed as complaints rather than taken seriously even though many of us are committed, adult learners who care deeply about our education and future careers. It is incredibly disappointing to be treated this way as paying adult students. We invest our time, energy, and money into this program, yet we are treated as if we are receiving a free service and should simply accept it without question. The tone and treatment are not only disrespectful, they are humiliating.

When I decided to follow the instructor strategy everything started to come more easier to me. Growth mind set; you must have. Before you do anything, you must adopt ATI strategy test bank, proctor exam, and the assessment on ATI. For each exam you done remediate the one you get wrong and practice again, complete all the focus review, active learning template (on specific content you miss). Look at your transcript and do the remediation on topic you get wrong, when you do all that test yourself to see your improvement, set your goal 85% to 95% on each test. On ATI there's the 3.0 dynamic quizzes where you can practice at least 50 question or more to test yourself start from easy, medium, hard and when you have accomplished a topic on each test create your test to test yourself to see how well you have done, remember to remediate on the one you get wrong. I want to introduce metacognition-the process to think about one's own thinking and learning. Ask yourself: what the assessment asking of me to do, what do I already know, what steps that I need to follow, how much effort I put in. There are test taking strategies: A,D,P,I,E- assessment, diagnose, planning, implement, evaluation. A,B,C- airway, breathing, circulation. Negative people, avoid any talk with them (there is too much distraction) Drop the mike - when you came across a situation say to yourself, "if I am going to do one thing and leave the hospital, what is best for my patient. There is distraction in multiple choices -after several days, after, immediately after. From the start, financial aid information has been unclear and inconsistent. Aid amounts change, balances fluctuate, and explanations are often vague or delayed. Students are left to constantly follow up just to understand what they owe and why. Communication between financial aid, billing, and advising feels disconnected, and it is incredibly difficult to get a straight answer. What is most troubling is that students are allowed to remain enrolled while financial aid issues are unresolved, only to later be hit with unexpected balances, holds, or threats of course disruption. This creates pressure and fear around continuing your education and feels like a tactic that places the financial burden entirely on the student. Instead of proactive guidance, the process feels reactive and transactional. Policies are quoted without being clearly explained, and support often feels scripted rather than student-centered. For a school that markets itself as supportive and accessible, the reality is that students must constantly advocate for themselves just to avoid financial fallout. I strongly advise prospective students to: Get everything in writing Track their account weekly Question every balance change Be prepared for financial aid issues to impact enrollment Chamberlain may work academically for some, but based on my experience, the financial aid system creates unnecessary stress and financial risk. I would not recommend this school to anyone who relies on financial aid without being fully prepared to fight for clarity and accountability.
