Another bummer for the college search. Great admissions presentation, very nice campus, admissions…read moretour guide was great, but there was such an unfriendly vibe on campus it turned my son off. Twice we saw girls look at the tour group and roll their eyes in disgust and while on tour there wasn't a single friendly hello from students walking around the campus. It's a shame because Marist has some great programs and was close enough for my son to come home once in a while. They say you can't make a second first impression and vibe from the current students we saw walking around just didn't make the place seem like the right fit. I'm 100% SURE this isn't the entire student body, but it is what it is. The search continues...

AN OLD TEXT BOOK . not the one we were required to buy for the class. she didn't have a lesson plan, wouldn't write any notes on the board, when you asked her a question she would look annoyed and not even answer you, when you asked her what to study for as far as tests and quizzes go she would tell us "oh i didn't make it up yet, just read over the chapters" IT WAS 7 CHAPTERS!!!!! Ms.Marrone is her name. if you get her as a teacher be prepared to teach yourself. She is lazy and doesn't care if her students understand the material let alone pass the course. OH and there's no point in reporting her to the administrator Dr. Moraca because she knows whats going on but doesn't give a shit. But she will be up your ass if you haven't paid. If you go to this school make sure you get Mrs. Meyers for a teacher, she actually wants her students to succeed. Other wise go to Ulster Boces there program is much better.
