This employee was a middle-aged man with dark hair, glasses and adult acne with the inclination to whistle. When I asked him about the bathroom key, he was incredulous, as if all first-time visitors should know where it is kept. All the sign on the restroom door said was that it was available at the counter opposite it. Forgive me for thinking this meant the employee kept it and handed it out at their own discretion. But I suppose that would be too much responsibility for him. He certainly didn't think customer service was one of his job responsibilities. He spoke with undisguised condescension and irritation, and when I didn't move in such a way that pleased him -- thinking to take the key off its placard rather than take the whole thing with me -- he became even more patronizing. As if he were addressing a child, he used a baby voice to tell me anyone could pocket the key if it wasn't attached to something bigger. All this over something so small as a bathroom key. But this interaction kept him from his larger goal, which was joking around with his younger female coworkers. I felt embarrassed for me. I especially felt embarrassed for him. And I now will think of the Half-Price Books in Tukwila not as a calm, welcoming environment, but as an embarrassment with a bathroom. For this employee, I would suggest practice in: 1. "Hello" 2. "How can I help you?" 3. "Here you are" 4. "It's my pleasure" Simple as that.

Before, I close the door on this review, there were a lot of books on discount or sale. Check out the big blue balloons hovering over the book tables for value finds.

It's amazing what you're able to find here from magazines to pedialyte and not to mention the various electronic items, snacks and outerwear and is usually the place I go for puzzles and magazines back in the day before the cellphone kept me occupied all that are still found here and so much more. Though there is a staff there once you find your items getting them is on your own using the self check out is something you're starting to see more and more but love this spot that's very clean and organized that's filled with so much great items in one spot. Hudson News carries everything you may need or want while traveling. From first aid kits, ear phones, magazines, bottled water, snacks and souvenirs, may be found here. Prices are not inexpensive, as you are in an airport venue. Convenience is the keys at Hudson News. One stop shopping.

Kind of a long story as to how I became a customer, but I'm glad I did. I started using Biblesoft in 1998 and found it very user friendly. Not a huge fan of One Touch, but it worked. Since their demise I reinstalled version 5.0 and it works like brand new. Over the years, I used Biblesoft and LOGOS, but LOGOS can be complicated to operate and I noticed some comments about the cost. LOGOS is VERY expensive. I recently got a notice that there is a "gap" in my collection and offers to fill it with various "ultimate collections." The offers START at $1015.86 (after a 60% discount). Some of their other collections are as much as $14,522 (AFTER a 60% discount is applied). Yeah, I passed on all of the offers.

I did find this workaround online. When loading One Touch, it will ask "continue running script", answer "No", and then hit Alt+f4. Sometimes you need to press Alt+F4 more than once; it should work on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
