Stay far away from this company! Disappointed, and sad to witness their atrocious treatment of dissatisfied paying consumers.

Don't use this company. They agree to pay you a very small amount for your books. Then they do NOT…read morepay that amount, only after they have your books in their hands. They come up with flimsy excuses why you are not getting paid, the amount that they agreed upon. They told me that some of my book must have fallen out ( of the box). I said NO. I taped the box securely. Then they changed their minds and agree , on the phone to pay what I was expecting but when I got the amount paid to me from Pay Pal, they shorted me again. PLEASE DON'T USE this company. They are unethical and not trustworthy. I will NEVER use them again.

I am writing to review an online used- and discount-books seller named Thriftbooks. I am hoping…read morethis is affiliated with the same outfit, because the sticker (above, in the picture, saying the number of the book) is exactly like the stickers I get from online Thriftbooks. I am unsure, though, because this bookseller's name is in two words, instead. Anyway, I press on. I have been buying books from Thriftbooks for many years and have not ever been dissatisfied with the books I have received until now. I received a Celebrate Recovery Bible that had apparently been damaged in shipping. The reason for my searching this company down in order to give them five stars is that they handled the issue calmly and quickly and shipped me out another one, allowing me to just donate my damaged copy to the Salvation Army instead of paying shipping costs to return it to them. The Salvation Army will give it away free, I told them, in my local store. Two extra stars for that! And the customer service representative, Justin, was wonderful. The staff members who dealt with my written complaint were also as wonderful as Justin. Thanks, everyone. A word of "warning" for buyers before you purchase--Thriftbooks purchases arrive in flexible paper packaging, so it IS possible for them to get damaged en route, especially heavy books like Bibles.

Love going here and checking out books for my students. They always seem to have special deals…read moregoing on with their coupons that you have to sign up for in advance. They also usually always have a spot where you can fill up a box for $25. I think due to Covid, the Warehouse is closed to the public, but you can order online. I have not done this option yet.

The Scholastic Book Fairs warehouse has an end-of-the-year sale from June 14 - 28. Call them for…read moretime/details. What a great deal for brand new recent scholastic books! The warehouse is open to the public for 50% off all books and select books are only $1 or $3. Educators can sign up online to get a Fast Pass and receive a discount. They have a huge selection of non-fiction, fiction, award-winning, children's, YA, reference, graphic novels, etc. It's a great way to stock up on summer reading and classroom books. The books were organized by grade but the warehouse itself was not in any particular order. I would walk down an aisle thinking it had all the K-3 books but then come across YA mystery novels at the end of the aisle. It was confusing and took a lot of effort to find the rest of the K-3 books. They also have a section in the front corner where you can fill a box of any of those books for $24. The selection here is not as good and a lot of patrons misinterpreted the deal with so many advertisements posted around the warehouse but only applicable to a small selection. Don't forget to use your scholastic points to purchase! Overall, the sale was great, if you're looking for new and recent books. Otherwise, I would still stick to Goodwill or garage sales for collecting items to build your classroom library. I mean... I spent way too much time and money here.
