Very disappointed that Biblesoft is no longer with us. I heard no announcement that they were going out of business and only learned of it when I tried to contact them through there website which no longer exists. Kind of a long story as to how I became a customer, but I'm glad I did. I started using Biblesoft in 1998 and found it very user friendly. Not a huge fan of One Touch, but it worked. Since their demise I reinstalled version 5.0 and it works like brand new. Over the years, I used Biblesoft and LOGOS, but LOGOS can be complicated to operate and I noticed some comments about the cost. LOGOS is VERY expensive. I recently got a notice that there is a "gap" in my collection and offers to fill it with various "ultimate collections." The offers START at $1015.86 (after a 60% discount). Some of their other collections are as much as $14,522 (AFTER a 60% discount is applied). Yeah, I passed on all of the offers. read more

I have been a Biblesoft user for many years. I loved the One Touch upgrade when it came out, but now with a new computer, I can not authorize it as they are permanently closed. I did find this workaround online. When loading One Touch, it will ask "continue running script", answer "No", and then hit Alt+f4. Sometimes you need to press Alt+F4 more than once; it should work on Windows 10 and Windows 11. read more

BibleSoft was a great Bible study tool. The company was very responsive. Sadly something went wrong. --- They need our prayers & compassion. I have used this product, and upgraded, for over twenty years. I still use the Once Touch version on a daily basis. And yes, the previous version had much better functionality. -- The people & families of BibleSoft have my prayers. read more

Can't recover updates after replacing pc or laptop. No response from CS. Subscribed so long initial mail server bought out.

Been a user since they started and have been very satisfied. Have upgraded through the years, last was to One Touch. The problem I have as of August 2025, when the program loads you cannot go past the splash screen and continue on to the program. I have no work around. If BibleSoft was going belly up, it would have been nice if they would have given directions so that users could still continue using the program. read more

I also used Biblesoft Smart Touch and in early September found it would no longer load. Discovered that by disconnecting the ethernet cable from my computer and then loading the software works around the issue when loading and comes up successfully. After it loads, I reconnect the ethernet cable and there are no further problems that I've noticed. J Neufeld Richmond BC Canada read more

I started using the PC bible after I was given a copy to look at. This copy was on floppy disc either 3.5" or 5" About a year later I purchased, at a huge discount, at Christian book store. I purchased many upgrades or individual addons. At some point I contacted BibleSoft for some help. They created 2 CDs for me to make reloading at new computer or windows upgrades. The version I have and still use 5.2 professional. Having also heard that my version could not be used on windows 10 I loaded the program up anyway. I worked Just fine. Today I loaded my 5.2 version on to a windows 11 computer and from just quick look at the program all seemed good! Still my program of choice. So sorry to read about all the problems users are having! For my sake all I can say God bless BibleSoft for the many many years of study and personal growth I have experienced. read more

PcStudy Bible is the best Bible Software on the market if it is still available. I have been using this software since it was on 3.5 floppies. I had a problem getting into the latest PCStudy Bible ( Disciple Series( a few months ago. When the program loaded I got a white screen so I called their 800 number and got who I believe was a technician. He told me when I get the white screen to hold down the ALT key and then press F4. It worked and I have had no problems since. I do not know what has happened since but I hope it is still in business. If not, it would be a major loss in the world of Bible software. The number I called is 1-866-722-4253. read more

I also have used Biblesoft for many years, even when it was a dos based program. I currently have the Discipleship onetouch installed which works fine on win10, sometimes it crashes for no apparent reason. It is a good idea to copy the joshua.exe file as it can become corrupted, causing the program to crash, you just need to copy the file onto the program86/biblesoft/onetouch/program. Biblesoft was bought over by another party, since then the normally good company has gone down hill rapidly. I noticed a price hipe in products and also the option to upgrade the program at a cheaper price was withdrawn and now offered only the program at the full price. The web site has shut down and is now closed. I noticed that they offered the 5.2 version as a free download as they had now introduced the onetouch series, this series is not that much better than the 5.2 version, so I would not bother getting it. I have produced some tutorials myself and they can be accessed on https://studio.youtube.com/video/0fzXE7Bx0tQ/edit there are 4 tutorials there. You can also download a very good free program by online bible and the details of how to do that are on my youtube chanel. https://www.youtube.com/@springtown24 If anyone has lost the funcutionality of their program and cannot use it contact me on FB account as I may be able to help. https://www.facebook.com/ballyearl I trust this may have been of some help. If anyone uses my tutorials please leave a comment there for me and even a thumbs up. read more

I have been a user of the software for years and was happy. I purchased One Touch and was happy with it until I needed to reload it on a new computer. No response from support. No response from emails I sent. No response for a letter I wrote. No response to multiple attempts to call them on the phone. I have now spent a good chunk of money for software that I can not use because I can't authenticate to their no longer available server. read more

I, too, have been a Biblesoft customer since it was a DOS program. I have been upgrading over the years as new versions were introduced. I currently have One Touch. I have loved this app throughout my entire experience. I even worked for Biblesoft as a regional sales rep when they were trying out that program in the late 2000s, shortly before bringing out One Touch. The app was working well as late as early September 2025. But suddenly, around September 10, it would only reach a blank white screen. It did this on both my laptop (Windows 11) and my desktop (Windows 10). The only way to exit out was to kill it using the Task Manager. Does anybody know what happened? read more

I too used and loved Biblesoft for a very long time. When I looked around for a replacement, I wasn't satisfied with a subscription to a system up in the cloud, which many of them now are. I finally came across a Canadian program ironically called Online Bible Software, which is very inexpensive and which you load entirely onto your computer. I think it will be a good replacement, so I thought I'd share this with others. read more

I've been using this software for nearly 20 years. I was up and running as recently as September 5, 2025. Since then, the software shut down. Based on the other comments I am not alone. It would seem that Biblesoft intentionally shut everyone down without notice. I have invested quite a bit of money into this software and should have access. Does anyone know of a way to contact Biblesoft? Their phone number is no longer functioning. read more

As a long time customer of Biblesoft, I was very disturbed when they announced that my version of Biblesoft (5.2) would be incompatible with Windows 10 and that I would have to come up with a lot of cash to upgrade to their "One Touch" system. Their customer service was fairly slow responding and offered no options other than to buy the newer version. So I figured I would try my 5.2 disks and files in my Dell Windows 10 PC, and lo and behold, it works just the same as it did when I was using Vista. I think Biblesoft has lost its direction and has gone all out to cash in on its previous reputation. Reading the many comments of purchasers of One Touch, I am glad I decided NOT to upgrade. read more

Stay far away from this company! Disappointed, and sad to witness their atrocious treatment of dissatisfied paying consumers.

I have been a Biblesoft customer for over 20 years. Until recently I have sung it's praises to all who would listen. The latest version has created an entirely new view for me. To make this very long story short, it took me several months to actually receive the upgrade software I paid hundreds of dollars for. This was AFTER I was told I MUST upgrade. The agreement calls for me to receive a book club, which allows for the downloading of a book on the list every two weeks. In over 8 months, I have only gotten the 'code' for 2. The program works sketchy at best. There is absolutely NO customer support, after close to 100 unanswered emails and phone calls, I get people who simply cannot help me, or worse, extremely rude and condescending to the point of character assassination. I have spoken to 5 different people over the months, and the latest is 'Susan', who is remarkably ignorant in dealing with paying customers. She gave me only lies, criticism and threats. There are NO tutorials available in the tutorial link. (most of the links don't work ) The app is close to useless. The program ONLY works with Microsoft edge. Their book club is non existent, despite the promises. DO NOT! I repeat, DO NOT buy anything from Biblesoft, You will be gravely disappointed. read more

I also have been with BibleSoft for more than twenty years. Sadly, the other reviews I have read (all negative) say it all: Stay away from this company! The company had a great start and a great product in the beginning but is now a great disappointment. Free bible study software that is now available works better than BibleSoft. read more

I was a Biblesoft customer for over 15 years, having spent hundreds of dollars on their add-ons -- until I upgraded to their One Touch software in December, 2017. Their email promoting it promised (and I'm copying and pasting): "When you place your order, one person is assigned to making a custom build of the software which includes all of the reference works you have accumulated in your program library and all add-ons you have purchased thru the years." When I received my thumb drive it did not include all my add-ons. When I contacted them, they rudely told me I had to purchase again what I had already purchased. Numerous calls and emails to customer service, sales and tech have failed to resolve the matter. In fact, they will no longer reply to my inquiries, and - curiously - I no longer receive their promotional e-mails. (Before, it was not unusual to receive 2-3 daily.) Not only that, the Mac version is filled with gaping holes and bugs, as David P. has mentioned, and routinely crashes. I have contacted both the BBB and FTC to report their false advertising and am waiting to hear from them. read more

I have been a customer of Biblesoft for well over 20 years. I just resonantly I ordered a subscription to their app that said it was an intimidate download. When I ordered it I was not able to find where to download the app and I'm pretty tech savvy. I checked out the confirmation email and the link that said "Need help downloading your product? Download Instructions." Well, the link did not work. I emailed them asking for help and called three times, but no answer. Each time I called it went to voice mail. I canceled the order and sent them an email explaining why I canceled the order. I got an standard email two days later thanking me for contacting them and that the email was forwarded to customer service. I then got an email from customer service saying "I do not know why the store cancelled your app order." Well, if you would have taken a moment to actually read my emails you would have see that I cancelled the order. There customer service is horrible. Plus I'm seeing bad reviews on their new products everywhere. So sad, but I'm done with Biblesoft. read more
