I'm a singer-songwriter and I've been at it for over 50 years. I visited Terry Flynn's studio and…read moreshow room recently, and purchased a 1926 Mason and Hamlin grand that had been totally restored by Terry and his amazing technicians. He was kind, patient and gracious - explaining each step and process. His technician,Marianka, took the time and care to pull the action and show me everything she had (lovingly) done on this piano. I purchased the Mason and Hamlin, trading my 6'3 Baldwin. Today, Terry and his wonderful staff delivered this gorgeous instrument to my home in Western Mass. The only thing more magnificent than this beautifully restored piano was the care they took in removing my Baldwin and setting up the Mason. Absolutely seamless and expert. I've moved the Baldwin several times in the last 31 years, and I've never seen movers with the skill and care that the Flynn group had. If you're looking for a piano company for tuning, restoration, repair or advise - Terry Flynn and company is a brilliant choice. I couldn't be happier.

Personally, I have no idea if that's true or not, because I don't work with watches. I'd rather drive to "wherever" than go back to him! Do I recommend him? No. (See above.)

I had picked up a Hitachi television from 1976. I brought it into him and he cleaned it up. Did some work on dial that selects the channels. He put in a couple of capacitors. Because when I played a videotape on the television. You could see at the middle of the top and bottom of the screen there was some bending. Luckily, it wasn't the picture tube but just the need of a couple of capacitors. He also was able to put a new cord into a multiple CD player. As well as adjust a very nice voice of music turntable. That had stopped working. I also found a new old stock, Panasonic telephone combination answering machine. He put on a new belt and adjusted the cam gear. Next up is a pioneer RT 707 open real tape recorder that needs adjustment with some new belts. Probably a new speed regulator as well as lubrication. There are very few old-time electronic repairman left around. He said he gets work from multiple states and is always busy. The turnaround time and the prices are very fair. If you have a turntable, Home, tape deck, receiver, open real tape deck, tube radio. This is definitely the place to bring it. As Ken has been in the Repair business for over 40 years.

My situation involved a web of issues which were decidedly not straightforward, and also needed to be addressed within a very tight time frame. Despite Matt's limited exposure to one particularly esoteric aspect of my case, he came up to speed quickly and completely, worked with remarkable focus and commitment, and skillfully handled a number of third parties whose cooperation was critically needed but not always as motivated as his own (particularly other counsel, whose actions I deemed borderline obstructive). The result: Matt ultimately helped me to gain as much control as possible over an exceptionally stressful and time-pressured legal and financial crisis. Equally invaluable as his strong legal competence, Matt's balanced guidance, steady temperament, responsiveness and keen "investment" in my matter helped me to maintain my composure through an exceedingly trying experience. Highly recommended.
