I called Eyes All Over while shopping for a comprehensive and contact lens exam. Bailey was highly…read moreknowledgeable and asked great questions to glean details to preemptively present information useful to my particular situation. The parking lot is small, with six spots shared between the street-facing optometry office and an interactive media studio behind it. I was greeted by both Bailey and the sunny Teri upon walking in. Soon as I was done with the paperwork, Bailey had a machine quickly measure my eyes for basic numbers to hand off to the optometrist (no puff of air involved, in case that bothers anyone), and I was ushered to the office to meet Dr. Matthew Anderson. Matt is a rather quiet individual - going expect overt humor or any chit-chat. That said, he was professional and thorough, whether in checking my eyesight, fitting me for contact lenses, or rechecking the fitting after I'd put on a trial pair. Eyes All Over typically gives over a week's worth of daily contact lenses for a trial run, and Matthew makes a point of guiding clients towards economical lens choices that offer enough support for their eyes without wallet overkill. Optometrists often have a refitting policy in event a prescription doesn't feel quite right, and Matthew's refitting policy extends 60 days from the examination. Overall, a good experience. I'll be back in a week to pick up the trial contact lens sets on order for me. Meanwhile, I have the remaining pairs the office had on hand to try out.

Update my review, I stopped in to buy another pair of glasses because I was so pleased with the…read moreservice from Joe that I received, but I was told he no longer works there. The help was completely incompetent. They were too busy gossiping about other customers to properly assist me so I bought nothing. The place was absolutely filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. They don't clean the outside of the entrance and it is dreadful. I didn't even want to take my jacket off. It was so dirty. Save your money go elsewhere. This quaint shop is delightful. I choose to come to this place because it is close to a friend that I visit often. There is a wonderful man that works here that is absolutely charming. He gives top notch service and literally rolls out the red carpet for his guests. He has a wonderful personality, he is attentive and very honest feedback about how the eyewear looks on me. I highly recommend you see him. I worked with a gal a couple years ago that was extremely lackluster and had zero skills in terms of assisting me in picking out I eyewear that would look flattering on me. I was grateful when I walked through the door and the gentleman was there. I knew he would be helpful as he was so put together and had exquisite eyewear. I do believe his name was James. If not, James possibly Joseph. The female that was offputting was named from what I remember, Maureen or Modonna. Useless.

They then checked them and agreed that they needed to be redone, without apology. My son was told that his frames were slightly bent during his eye exam. But no adjustment was made because he had to buy this replacement pair elsewhere while away at college - not exactly the way you would expect a long term customer to be treated. And finally, my daughter who has worn contacts for years was not given a contact lens prescription during her last appointment. Now she needs to spend time out of her day to come back for another exam - No appology given. Used to love this place. Sadly it's gone down-hill rather fast. My family of 4 will not be returning.

Not a huge deal to drive farther to location 2 except - I have been waiting for these frames since June 12th - that's over 3 months. Around the first week of August i was left a voicemail on vacation indicating they expected my frames in the next week. I never heard back and called again on 9/11 and was informed someone was calling me back at 2pm same day with an update. Not only did i not get that call back, i also left a voice mail three days ago (now 9/25) that was also never returned. in terms of customer service, how can you expect a customer to wait for over 3 months for eye frames when they were in stock at one of your locations? on multiple occasions why would you not call your customer back? why does one location take my insurance but another does not? eye exam was NOT covered by my insurance because i learned after the fact that it was the other location that accepted my insurance. eye exam itself was excellent. i have gone to LensCrafters and VisionWorks and really wanted to like Dakota Eye Care but you have missed the mark with nearly every aspect of what it takes to provide excellent customer service.

I came in with high hopes -- little did I know it would take almost 3 months to finally get my…read moreglasses. It started with my prescription needing to be adjusted, and the optometrist was incredibly condescending throughout the process. At first, Nikki was kind and said they'd remake the lenses with the new prescription. Weeks later, the lenses came back -- but with the old prescription. They remade them again, this time with the correct prescription, but then the frames broke, so they had to reorder them. When the new frames arrived, they were different from the original ones I chose. When I pointed this out, they insisted it was the same model and that the manufacturer "must have changed them." Instead of apologizing, they said they'd see which frames fit my lenses -- as if I should just accept whatever worked. By this point, I'd been back multiple times, only because of their repeated mistakes, yet they treated me like I was the problem. It wasn't until I insisted on a refund that they finally agreed to make another pair in the correct frames. This entire process was an absolute nightmare -- disorganized, rude, and completely lacking accountability. Steer clear.
