a box of airborne and a bag of cheesy chips

Hudson News are typically seen at most airports. This one is at O'Hare International Airport and it was the most unfriendly experience I have ever endured. The prices are ridiculous since you are paying airport prices. I bought a Chex Snack Mix ($11.09), Airborne ($16.19) and a Dasani Liter ($5.29) because they didn't have any Evian. I was standing in line for the cashier when the staff asked me cash or credit. I said credit. She basically told me to go to self check out and deal with it myself. So I go to self check out... and the Dasani bottle has their QR code right next to the barcode. Obviously I know which one is the barcode, but the scanner keeps scanning the wrong one. Then the lady keeps yelling at me from afar and lecturing me. I'm like I KNOW!! Then she finally comes over after I already handled it. So USELESS and annoying!! I rather throw my money away than come back here for this second rate citizen treatment. I'm sure other places in this airport has snacks and water to purchase from.

This Hudson News is located in Terminal 2, Concourse E, of O'Hare International Airport. The register receipt designates this location as "Store 00854." As Hank C. mentions, all of your normal Hudson News convenience store products are offered here: cold bottled water and soda, snacks, toiletries, newspapers and magazines, along with junky tourist trinkets. Picked up a couple of bottles of cold water in preparation for my flight to Dulles. The current address Yelp has listed for this location is incorrect. Until they correct the address, please note the correct address: Hudson News O'Hare International Airport, Terminal 2, Concourse E 10000 West O'Hare Chicago, IL 60666

Is it just me or does this seem excessive to you?

So keep an eye out for it, as you drive. Today, was my first time at Six-Corners neighborhood in many, many years and I'm glad that I made the trip to it. This store is very well stocked with magazines and many types of magazines that you don't find at a Jewel-Osco magazine rack or check-out aisle. Being a film buff, I was glad to find "Cinema-Retro" magazine as well as several discounted hardcover books. Today, I spent $134 here on magazines & books and I had a good time doing it. I was able to browse without interruption until I found the items that I wanted to purchase. The check-out clerk was very helpful and polite, the place was very clean, very well lit and the magazine racks were very well organized. There's also a small coffee shop in the store. Great place - 5 stars!

I'm a big magazine nerd and this really satisfied my hunger for all things mags! The nice barista told me about their rewards program too, so I signed up! There was an event happening that prevented me from sitting down and enjoying my cup near the front, but I did leave with several mags. Prices and variety of mags was good and I hope they get more into indies beyond just European mags. Can't wait to take the bus over here again and again!
