I have played many guitars over the years, High End well known industry names ones ($$$$), Low end…read moreones that kick ass for the price ($$) and everything in between. But Moxy Guitars are the absolutely hands down the best guitars I have ever played. The necks are like butter, the pickups range from Pristine Crystal Cleans to Insane Distortion roar with and incredible amount of sustain (I quote Spinal Tap - you can hold it and go and have a bite and you will still be hearing that one) I just received my first custom a few months ago and after the first show,I sold all my other guitars just so I can get another Moxy. They even Moxy'ed a guitar I previously owned and put a new Moxy neck, new Benson pickups, new hardware and some custom touched with LEDs...now its 1000 x's better. These guitars are not just incredible instruments, they are pieces of art created by talented luthiers/musicians that know how music should be played and heard. I started at HAA a couple years ago with no experience in voice or any instruments. Couldn't read…read moremusic. I started voice with Logan who I believe is no longer there. He wasn't far off my age so I was more comfortable with this teacher. However after his leaving I had stopped voice and tried another studio that was recommended to me by a friend. I immediately noticed the difference in experience. While he was close to my age, did know what he was talking about. He was still learning to teach it. He had me singing in an upper range and told me that a lower range was out of my range. The teacher I have now has my singing in the right range. While I loved Logan and enjoyed his classes I felt as though I want learning as quickly as I would have liked to. This also could have nothing to do with him and the fact lesson time was only once a week for 30 minutes and $45 a lesson... pretty expensive but as a young adult with no real responsibilities I could afford it. I noticed with my new voice teacher he was able to quicker recognize some of my problems and help me get to a quicker result. I feel over time Logan would have been able to do the same. Just lack of experience in teaching. Fast forward a year in. I started taking violin lessons there as well. I started lessons with Colin. He was a bit odd to me at first but I really loved having him for a teacher. I picked up pretty quickly and he would show me good bow exercises and helped me learn to read music. A very knowledgeable man! I was offered extended lesson time (45 minutes instead of 30) while it was obviously more expensive that way the extra 15 minutes was definitely worth it. We would spend some of my lesson time discussing the history of violin and older classic violinists. He knows his stuff! These lessons are very expensive $65 a lesson once a week for a 45 minute lesson, however what I am learning and how I'm progressing is definitely worth it. He is an excellent teacher. I had to stop for a short period of time due to medical reasons. But they were aware and I will soon be starting my lessons up with Colin again and can not wait. My thoughts over all for this business are that I feel it is more like a business and less like a "family" of that makes sense. Like I had mentioned I take voice lessons elsewhere and dance lessons elsewhere as well and both of my teachers are their own small business who really cares for their students and has a passion for what they do. While I believe that HAA teachers may like or love what they do there is definitely a difference. I still enjoy going. The women at the desk always know me by name when I come in which makes it feel a little nicer. I just wish it was less run like a business and a more a little homier? I guess? Just my own personal opinion.

They have lessons with Adam, who is fantastic. I just love the way he communicates with them. He's super professional and nice and interested--just a wonderful teacher. Recently I signed one of my boys up for an acting class, and that's also going great. It's a lovely place with really nice staff and a comfortable facility. I haven't been to any of the recitals or anything yet, but so far, extremely pleased with our experience here.

AVOID. THIS SCHOOL !!!…read more My wife and 9 year old son decided to take lessons. We started in May and had a planned vacation for a month in July . The school has a rule you must give a weeks notice to cancel the lesson or you will be charged, this rule is fair as they have to run a business . We gave Jose plenty of notice stating we will be away for the month of July, We told Jose we will start back up August 1st. On JULY 30TH I call the school to confirm everything is set up as my son whose 9 was eager to start lessons again . Unfortunately know one answered the phone so I left a message and waited for a return call . The day went by no return call, The next day I call 2 more times and again no answer or return phone call . I say to myself maybe they are closed for vacation even though the voice mail says they are open. I give them the benefit of doubt that possibly they forgot to change the answering machine . Days go by no return call, The following week I again call same thing answering machine and no return call. Now frustrated and aggravated I EMAIL the school because 10 days have passed we missed two lessons and have rental guitars we are paying for . Keep In mind like every parent we have 90 things going on and the last thing we should have to do is constantly call a music school we are paying and get zero response . Kelly, Joses wife send me an email three days later explaining we have not kept your spot and the only times available are 8:00 at night . My sons is 9 and goes to bed at 8:00 on school nights, so how is that even possible !! I then write back again even more aggravated and then get a response from Jose the owner Jose starts off very nice explaining its his fault he didn't tell his wife he saved spots for my wife and our son. I told Jose exactly what we were planning when we left for vacation. I hate confusion and am very thorough. Jose then goes on telling me that he's very busy with summer camps and hes short staffed so he couldn't return a call or email for 12 days ? This aggravated me even more as I have my own issues and he seems to think his problems are now my problems! I then write him back saying its his responsibility to make sure calls are returned and emails answered. More importantly we have been waiting 12 days for a simple guitar lesson with rented guitars we are paying for . We rented the guitars to make sure my son liked the lessons before purchasing a guitar . Jose then sends me an email back stating "Because of my tone " we shouldn't work together !! What owner screws up then tells a customer because of my tone we shouldn't work together . This guy doesn't answer calls or emails .His wife tells me we do not have a spot left and I shouldn't be aggravated ? I guess Jose feels he can do as he pleases and if the customers do not agree and he doesn't like their "TONE" he will just say "Dont come back" Keep in mind my wife is ok going somewhere else, But you do not do things like this to a 9 year old CHILD. YOU SCREWED UP JOSE SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE AND APOLOGIZE ... STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR CHILD

This company produces monitor calibration software and hardware, among other devices…read more I was interested in buying a Spyder 4 Pro from this company but I had some technical questions about the product, so I called the company's phone number during business hours to find out if this item will work for my needs. I select technical support. I get an answering machine! And not only that, the machine is full and cannot take any more messages. So I try the sales department. I get another answering machine? What the heck kind of company is this? I mean, I thought HP and Adobe were bad. So I try the other options, the operator. He doesn't know much. He transfers me to another answering machine. So I try another option, administration, human resources. Unfortunately, all the humans have been replaced by answering machines because that is what I got yet again. I am tired of American companies who don't know how to run their businesses with customers in mind.
