But Moxy Guitars are the absolutely hands down the best guitars I have ever played. The necks are like butter, the pickups range from Pristine Crystal Cleans to Insane Distortion roar with and incredible amount of sustain (I quote Spinal Tap - you can hold it and go and have a bite and you will still be hearing that one) I just received my first custom a few months ago and after the first show,I sold all my other guitars just so I can get another Moxy. They even Moxy'ed a guitar I previously owned and put a new Moxy neck, new Benson pickups, new hardware and some custom touched with LEDs...now its 1000 x's better. These guitars are not just incredible instruments, they are pieces of art created by talented luthiers/musicians that know how music should be played and heard. I'm sorry to write this because they are a small business and have other great reviews. I left a…read moreclarinet at Clemmers in June 2024 for an estimate because it was given to me for my son to start playing in fourth grade in September. In August I stopped by Clemmers in person because I couldn't reach anyone by phone for a while or leave a message. The clarinet had lost the claim ticket and instead of an estimate, it was repaired. It is a Selmar instrument. My end of the claim ticket states after 60 days the store can keep the instrument. I paid $375 for repadding and repairs. The mouthpiece was missing so I returned to Clemmers and they gave me a Bundy mouthpiece with a bent ligature. In February when my son added private lessons in addition to group school lessons the teacher said the keys where not making full contact with the body of the instrument. I took it for an assessment in Pottstown and was told the pads were the wrong size and it was not aligned. I wrote to the owner of Clemmers with this information from the second assessment and left my cell number, email address and home address and no one contacted me. Today I had a few minutes so I stopped by on my way home from work and spoke with the owner. He said I should have brought the instrument back and the person who repaired it the second time was not certified to repair it like his wife is. He said she is one of only 24 people people certified in woodwind repairs. So he cant do anything. Which is probably right. Be careful. My interaction with Clemmers was awful starting when I dropped the instrument off for an estimate.
