Sherri is the best, she obviously LOVES dogs and they love her. My sweet puppy went to Sherri for her first groom, my pup wouldn't let me get close to her nails or the hair on her face, within 30 seconds Sherri was able to get right to it and my pup was relaxed and happy....and she got the best groom, now every time I go to Hudson Hounds my puppy gets super excited and jumps out of the car to try to get in there as soon as possible. Thanks Sherri! read more

Hudson Hounds Dog Grooming - Pet Groomers Near Me - Cold Spring, New York

I had brought my dog here to be groomed because we had gotten a gift card. I am SO glad I did! Sherri is excellent. She's very friendly and good with dogs. I can't tell you how many times I have asked a groomer to trim the hair on my dog's tail and they DON'T do it. Sherri listened to me and his groom came out the way I wanted. (Finally!) The prices are even better than Petsmart, which I'm thrilled about because I feel like I pay so much for him to get groomed at and he doesn't look good after (this is since his last groomer left Petsmart). I was also happy that it only took an hour. My fiance and I walked around Cold Spring while we waited for him to be done. There are lots of good shops and places to eat. I will definitely be going to Hudson Hounds regularly. read more

So glad I found this groomer conveniently located to our new house. She does a great job with my maltipoo Lula, and is always quick and efficient. Plus, fairly priced (especially after NYC prices!). Will continue to go for Lula's grooming whenever she needs a haircut! read more

This is the only place I will bring my dogs. If you want a friendly, loving and at home environment for your dogs, this is the place! The salon is so cute and assimilates the home, so your dogs don't have to feel like they're in doggy jail when they go to get groomed. Sherri, the owner, is the sweetest woman with an obvious love of animals. Highly recommended! read more

Sherri is wonderful. I'm so glad we found her! Turned out she knew our rescues from their prior owner which was even better! She's great with our dogs and is so knowledgeable and so caring. I won't go anywhere else! I think her prices are very reasonable, especially considering the personal service! She knows a lot about dogs and obviously loves animals! read more

Sherri is one of those people who is magical with animals. She is so understanding of my cranky, old, blind dog. Who bites her occasionally. I highly recommend her. read more

I just moved to beacon a few months ago from the Bronx with my grumpy old fur baby. She's an 11 years old Pekingese with a fluffy coat that worked great for the winter months but as it started getting warmer I started to dread finding a new groomer. I have been seeing the same person for most of her life and had a nightmare experience once when I tried someone different, so this time I did my homework. I looked into groomers in the area and prices and found this place that happens to be ten minutes from my house. I called and was accommodated the very next day. When I arrived I knew this was my new place, I was greeted with a smile and there was an open space for dogs to socialize and another space for the introverts. My baby was happy to go and was ready with a new hairdo, nails done, ears clean and teeth cleaned, I was impressed on not only the price but how fast she was finished. The best part, my baby left happy with her tail high and wagging, super excited about all the friends she made. I'm so happy I found this place!! It's so hard finding someone you can trust and doesn't hit you over the head with fees, I can't recommend this place enough!!! read more

My dogs loved her - and they have no past experience with being groomed. I will definitely bring the boys back again. Highly recommended

Hudson Hounds is wonderful. Sherri is very friendly and flexible, which is essential when dealing with all sorts of canine needs. She also very talented. We've brought our 40 pound dog to her multiple times, usually in pretty scrappy filthy condition because we wait too long in between visits or come in after some very muddy play in the woods - Sherri never judges and always hands us our dog back looking and smelling wonderfully. She also uses hypoallergenic products on our dog, which is a big plus since I am sensitive to fragrances and certain ingredients. The prices here are also very reasonable and fair. We've have a very good experience with grooming at Hudson Hounds. Very highly recommended! read more

Sherri is a gem and a true animal lover. Her work is almost flawless and my dog comes back very happy! Sherri has 2 dogs of her own that were rescues. These dogs needed so much care and love. They got that and more with Sherri. Her compassion for animals is unmatched. I would recommend Sherri to anyone without hesitation. read more

Sherri is absolutely wonderful! If encyclopedia needed to feature a dog groomer, she should be the one to go down in the books! She is picture perfect, exactly what you're looking for and expecting. Her place is adorable and she has rescued a few special needs animals that stay at the shop with her, bless her heart! My dog looooves her and is so excited to see her, and she gives him the cutest cut! He prances around for days with an extra boost of sass because he knows he's looking good. And her prices are great, $20 less than my last groomer! I work down the street from her shop at a cafe that allows dogs on our porch, and all the dogs in town go to her, EVERYONE raves about her! This is the groomer your looking for read more

Sherri is amazing and so helpful! Can usually squeeze you in but if not it's just because she does such a great job. Helpful smart and very professional! My dogs are a little skittish and she knows just how to make them feel safe and loved. read more

Love this place. Great service, great prices, and I love the way she treats my animals.

Humble neighbor, dog groomer, exceptional care to all her guests (doggies). Great place to get your pets care needs. xo

My pup is not easy to groom. Sherri was wonderful with her even though my pup nips! She loves animals, is a very talented groomer and my dog came away looking great. The salon is very homey and there are not alot of pups in cages. She basicly grooms one dog at a time and if you return when yours is ready...there is little use of crates. I won't go anywhere else even though i live about 30 miles away! Highly recommended. read more
