I asked if he could come by our house anytime that week to give us a quote for two jobs. If the numbers seemed good, we would need the job done by the end of the following week. Peter said this would be no problem and that he would come by the house at the latest by the weekend. Just to be safe, I called on Friday (as he did not come during the week) to confirm that he would be coming on Saturday or Sunday. He asked to text pictures of our patio and said he might be able to come that day but if not to call him Saturday morning (the next day) to confirm a time. As requested I called on Saturday morning. No one picked up so I left a message and never heard back. He never came. He never followed up. We never got a quote or any response after multiple confirmations. Peter even said that they would most likely be able to do the job by the deadline as they weren't very busy that week. This is bad customer service at its finest. Telling a customer you are going to do something and not doing it is what you can expect from this company. I guess they don't want our service/money. Find another company. Don't give bad business owners business.

Many tears ago the the company that vinyl king bought installed siding on my house. Recently I noticed some discoloring in one section and called the current company when I found out the work was done by a company that that this company bought. About 13 years ago my siding was installed. The warranty was for 15 years however, the the style I had installed was discontinued many years ago. The new owner, who could have easily just said "sorry, nothing we can do" instead literally spent months contacting other distributors of this manufacturer to see if perhaps there was some of the stock I needed tucked away in some warehouse collecting dust. After almost six months he called and told me that he found a very close substitute that could hardly be distinguished from mine. Two days later his crew showed up an in no time the replacement siding was installed and even I could not tell the difference in the section that was replaced. In this day and age this type of professionalism and customer service is basically extinct. They went beyond expectations to ensure I was a satisfied customer. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Be warned -- still finding problematic spots of the horrible job these guys did months after…read more Hired this company to paint several rooms in our new home - the first day an entire team showed up to work while the remaining days, only two people came to work on the rooms, and it did not seem like the two painters had done much work before -- We asked Harold to come back to see the work his team was doing, and while he agreed that the work his company did was not up to standard, very little was done to remedy it. I think we had Harold come inspect the work twice - lots of agreeing with us but very little supervision on his part. In the end, we were charged full price (well over 5k) for work that we're saving up to have repainted. We specifically went with this company because we wanted to support NYC teachers but cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone.
