This is one of the schools the TSSC rents out for Dodgeball…read more Of all the different schools I've played at this one is the best. There are change rooms available, an easily accessible water fountain, and the only basic rule is that you remove wet/muddy footwear before going into the gym. The gym is the perfect size to play dodgeball in. It's not too small so the games last a decent amount of time and don't turn into a firing squad and it's not so big that you throw your arm out every time to try to get the ball to the other side of the court.

By far for me this school was the best choice for my kid. After pulling my kid out of public school…read morewhere he pushed around in. Some teachers in public school didn't care just sent my kid to principle office. My kid was falling behind, and most of things he didn't do. But now at Pope Francis Catholic School he grades have come up. From c- to b+ I take that as a win. I'm not Catholic, but my wife is. She's telling me to add "To all parents that have there kids in a Public school, and feel like your kid could do better then bring try putting your kid in Catholic school. Like Pope Francis Catholic School here at 319 Ossington Ave. You might be in for happy surprise." So if you are near this school, and want your kid to learn I recommend it. or any Catholic school in Down Town Toronto maybe nearly the same. Spread this around, and don't wait or there may not be space for you.

Attending The Linden School was one of the worst experiences of my life. It has been over 10 years…read moresince I left, and I still carry trauma from my time there. Instead of being a place of growth and encouragement, the school created an atmosphere of fear, exclusion, and constant judgment. A teacher, Rory consistently singled me out in ways that felt unfair and humiliating. The leadership under the principal, Janice, only made things worse -- the administration fostered an environment that was punitive rather than supportive, and students like me were left feeling isolated and diminished. The impact of this experience has stayed with me long after, which says everything about the culture of this school. I would strongly warn families to reconsider before sending their children here.

She started at Linden in junior high school with average grades and a perception of herself as an average student who struggled in various subjects. She left Linden with top grades across all subjects and a perception of herself as someone who could do anything she set her mind to. She went on to attend the University of Toronto and graduated with an Honours Degree with Highest Distinction. I will always be grateful to the Linden School. This school had a profoundly positive impact on my daughter's life.

The school belongs to a collection of high-level private schools, which include Upper Canada College. Students must always wear a school uniform, which includes pants, skirts, shorts, and sweat pants. The younger grades are in a separate building in the back. There is one building with the library, dance, music, and science. Grades 5 to 8 are in the two old buildings connected by the new part. Classes are limited to 18 students per class. The fees are $38K/y plus a one-time $9K registration fee. There are some small-size classes with a max of 10 students who need extra attention. As an example, grade 6 has 2 classes of 18 and one class of 10. The smaller-sized classes cost more. There is a medium-sized gym (half the size of a basketball court) with a stadium. There is a small-sized soccer field outside. On our school tour, I noticed 98%+ students are students of European descent. I didn't notice a single Asian student. The school is not wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms. There is free and paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2024-074

Teacher first priorities over students is exemplified in the limited amount of extracurricular options.
