They were so nice (minus one but I'll get to that in a minute) But I had Dr. Elissa Daher & her team. They were so GOOD ! I think a lot of people don't go to doctor and dentist. Not because they don't need to but because how some doctor and dentist make you feel so bad. Your already in pain or sick you don't need to feel bad while your at a place to make you " feel good " Some dentist been so mean or rough. But Hudec dental was very compassionate & had wonderful impersonation communication skills while being Gentle. I had cavities I can honestly say I didn't feel anything and they made sure to keep asking to make sure I wasn't in any discomfort ...... I get all four of my wisdom teeth pulled yes all four pulled coming up August 1. I'm very nervous and this is at an different location ( because they don't pulled wisdom teeth at the one I went to ) I hope I have the same experience of genuinely nice people I'll will update and speak on the other location too. The only con was their receptionist in the front she was Puerto Rican or Hispanic. She was very rude and not just to me. In the waiting room everyone that would come up to ask something she would yell or speak in a " why don't you know that already tone " you have the perfect job how are you answering phone in air or heat sitting on your a** all day just answering question with an attitude like how ?? read more

I am uncertain what is going with at this practice, but I hope that the issues are resolved. I scheduled a new patient appointment where a treatment plan is established. I had the appointment. Scheduled a cleaning and appointment with a provider based on this appointment. I was told that my insurance needed to be verified and my follow up appointment was canceled. I called back and just found out that the dentist left so I would have to have that original appointment over again. I am going to see another dentist at another location now. read more

I visited Dr. Brain Hudec today and had a negative experience with my dental treatment. He informed me that he would be keeping my teeth and refunding my insurance company due to my complaints about him. However, he is retaining the $618 I paid out of pocket on the first day for a mold of my mouth, even though they hadn't contacted my insurance company yet. I have filed a complaint with the dental board and my insurance company. Honestly, I feel fortunate to be alive after everything he has done. He administered a lot of medication while pulling my teeth, causing my blood pressure to drop to 80/50. It seems he thinks he has the right to take my money. What they do is change the billing details to keep the funds for themselves. read more

I needed some lower teeth removed & replaced with a denture. Extractions went quickly & healed well, no problems. Had a problem getting my new denture & bite adjusted @ Lorain office. Main Office, set up an appointment for me at another location, with Dr. Brian @ Broadview office, he did one adjustment, took 20 minutes, Bingo, 90% improvement. At 89, I come from the 'old school' of work performance & service.....don't need pampering or hand holding for dental work, like the 'youngsters' today. My journey with Hudec started in April. I have an infected impacted wisdom tooth. They sent me to an oral surgeon that works out of their offices but they will tell you he isn't affiliated with them. The surgeon numbed my mouth slightly before removing the tooth but it wasn't enough. It also began to wear off by the time he came back. I felt everything. It was horrible. Fast forward to today. I am still having trouble with the surgery site. I'm in a lot of pain. I had an inch long piece of jaw bone come out of the hole. The tooth was in there sideways. It was not set in the jaw bone. He told me that he was removing food that was stuck in the hole then told me he actually removed dead bone. So my mouth still hurts 6 months later and now my lip and chin are completely numb. The only thing I can feel are pins and needles from hades. He says this is caused by inflammation of the nerves but I don't know how much I believe him. He is also now trying to use my rheumatoid arthritis as an excuse for everything that is going on with my mouth. My Rheumatologist disagrees. I know many insurance companies don't give you much choice when it comes to dentists but choose them with caution. I've seen them for other stuff and they were great but quality of care seems to be going down hill. read more

I had Dr king great guy super nice. however they can not make dentures . I sent them back 4x they are so bug the fall out of my mouth and will not suction. the over bite they gave me is terrible. and the teeth do not line up. I was tired of sending them back to just to get them wrong again. I'm only 48yrs old and have to deal with gluing them in everyday. i can't eat anything unless is so soft only barely need to be chewed. $4,000 later I have have dentures that are worthless read more

I was charged for an X ray which was not communicated to me prior to- I mentioned it to the staff manager who told me the charge would be removed and collections wouldn't be pursued but instead they sent further appeals to the insurance company and then stated collections would be pursued. I called at 9 am and was drilled and filled by 10:30 am the same day. This dentist and staff give me the best dental care. I called about a possible cavity, and they noted that I had a filling in the same tooth from 2016. Due to upcoming travel, they were able to see me immediately to verify if the filling was gone, or if it was new. The filling was gone, and we took action to prevent further issues. I am impressed with the speed and care I experience at my dentist. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I was a patient here in August and went in for tooth pain in just one tooth, and also to get re affiliated with a dentist (I had moved). They 'identified' 6 cavities, which was interesting because I felt no pain, other than that one tooth. Also, when the dentist was identifying the cavities and telling the technician what to write down, he said one tooth and then changed his mind and told her to write down another tooth... It really sounds like he made the cavities up. I was too trusting and got them drilled and filled - literally my biggest regret I have ever made. They did the worst job, since 1. I think they made up 5 of the cavities, 2. The fillings were not shaped enough to my teeth and I just thought that was normal, but NO, apparently that is a sign that a filling needs to be shaved down, but they did not tell me this. 3. Whereas I did not experience tooth pain before in the majority of my mouth, I do now. Now, I have to go somewhere else and see what can be done to fix this mess. I have heard of many many other similar situations with hudec dental, and most shockingly, I have since been warned by family members who are dental hygienists to stay away for this very reason. On top of this monstrosity, the billing/receptionist people treat you like you are interrupting them, the technicians are awkward and don't talk, and the rooms are disgusting looking. read more

Highly, highly recommend. Finding an entire office staff that's friendly and helpful is rare and this team was on point. I had my first appointment yesterday after a dental lapse of many years. I had been putting it off cause I knew what needed to be done was not going to be fun. (Three extractions) It finally came time to get the job done and I stumbled across Hudec. I am very glad I did. From the initial phone call to make my appointment to the rescheduling for my cleansing, the entire visit was wonderul. My dr and his assistant were amazing, caring, comforting and very efficient. It's a great dentists' office. I'm not sure what to give for a dental review, so I'll make the following points: -It's quick. I didn't wait around forever, the cleaning was fast but good and meticulous -The dentist explained my ex-rays rather than just telling me I had a cavity -No one tired to sell me any cosmetic procedures or unnecessary procedures. In fact, they didn't even try to force a fluoride rinse on me since it's not covered by my insurance. All my past dentists would try to force a fluoride rinse on me for $65 even though they knew I didn't want it/need it. Yeah, I had a cavity, but that's more because of some other poor habits and from not seeing a dentist for a few years, not because I skipped a rinse. I'm very happy with Hudec and I'll continue to go. It's the best dentist I've seen leaving my hometown ten years ago. read more

Showed up at 9:45 for my 10am appointment. I hear someone being called into their appointment around 9:55am and the technician apologized for the wait. I asked the person at the front desk if there was a wait and she said yes, 30 mins. I asked her why she didn't call to tell me and she laughed and shrugged. I asked why she didn't tell me when I walked in 15 mins ago that there was a wait and she laughed and shrugged. I booked the appointment a few weeks ago and had to plan to work from home to make it, as well as move meetings around. I couldn't wait indefinitely because I had to make it to work. Now I can't come back for another 3 weeks. Purely based on organization and customer service, I'd say go somewhere else. I rebooted my appointment but will try to find someone else in the meantime. read more

i'm a super big baby about the dentist...it's been 15 years since my last dentist visit. my initial visit was great, they eased me through my concerns and they set up a plan for a cleaning and to fix all my cavities, etc. my root canal today was my favorite/best dentist visit ever in my life! dr. mancuso and all of the staff were amazing! no pain!! and i'm not so scared about my fillings coming up! if it's been a while since your last visit or not, i highly recommend hudec dental!!! thanks y'all!!! read more

I'd give this place zero stars if it were an option. I've been going here for about 3 years and finally stopped going this past May. They have replaced several fillings with new fillings more than once and I believe that I didn't even have cavities in some of those teeth. Hudec is drill-happy. There's a younger dentist there who looks fresh out of college, almost like he's still living at the frat house. Almost like he may pound back a few Great Lakes Dortmunder Golds before making his way to work every morning, but that's none of my business. Anyway, he did a front tooth filling on me and I thought it looked rather funny after he did it... whatever. BUTTTT, a few days later I had a wisdom tooth removal consultation with an oral surgeon and she said it was the worst filling job that she'd had ever seen in her life. I made Hudec replace the filling the next day. At my last cleaning appointment with them in March, they said I needed a crown and fillings. I put off getting the crown done after I had already forked over almost $600 out of my own pocket for MORE fillings. MORE FRIGGIN' FILLINGS! I decided to find a new dentist after that and good thing I did. I had a cleaning and checkup today and my new dentist spoke nothing of me needing a crown. This place is a crock! Not to mention the receptionists are all rude as heck. Hudec? More like POO-dec. read more
