    "slightly burnt"
    Maria W.

Side salad and my mom's Chef salad had wilted brown lettuce. They didn't have any boiled eggs made apparently, and they thought we wouldn't notice, so they didn't bother saying anything until we asked about it. We waited 40 minutes to get our food even though there was barely anybody in the restaurant. After the long wait they present me with a plate of charred/burnt steak tips, and burnt mushrooms. My son's mac n cheese was so salty it was inedible. The kids burgers were dry and over cooked and literally black and hard on the edges. We were informed by the wait staff that the cook was in a bad mood. What a disaster. The wait staff was pleasant enough and thankfully comped us the steak tips and Mac cheese. We will never be back.

This food is bad service sucks and they dont bring u refills.

Service very slow, the atmosphere when you walk in the place could be a lot better and alot cleaner.

The food was amazing and the coffee was amazing as well. We ordered the fruitella which is toast with Nutella and berries plus almonds. We also ordered the bagel sandwich which had bacon and turkey with Swiss cheese and eggs. Our drink orders were Ives brown sugar shaken espresso half sweet with oat milk. My husband got the iced Sopapilla latte with oat milk. We will be making this our every weekend spot from here on out. The staff was welcoming and gave exceptional service.

It's a great place in downtown Martin with delicious fresh ground coffee, as well as appealing menus for both a quick breakfast or lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and prices were competitive. The place has an upscale finish, but an extremely comfortable and casual vibe. Looks like a great place to meet friends, get a little quiet laptop work done, or just chill. We met and visited with the owner briefly and it's clear that his vision for Martin's will be successful. We highly recommend Martin's - Coffee & Bakery in Martin, Tennessee.

We couldn't decide on food so we opted to split the two "sampling" options and were not disappointed. The stars were the cheese curds, pretzel bites, turkey and rib - wow! Everything else I had stacks up too! There are four styles of American BBQ. I would say they fall into these categories. Carolina's, Memphis, Texas, Kansas City. If there are others in your opinion, I don't care. That's all I believe in! My favorite by far is Texas. I love a good slathered in only salt and pepper, fatty side sliced, smoked for the perfect time, juicy brisket. My boy Blake has gotten it right! The setting is perfect, almost like the old mill was built for a different purpose that no one knew yet, so long ago. The decor, infused with days of the old, new interior additions, and the pictures of all of the pitmasters that have inspired him is so well done. We planned a drive from Memphis to Kentucky and went a specific route around having lunch here. I have been trying to get a visit since he was in the old trailer down the road. My only visit to Martin before, he was closed. Our server was like Southern Sweet Tea. Just dripping with sugary sweet goodness. She was a joy in my life for this great food moment! I should probably get to the food now I guess... I was here for the sampler platter. I knew that back in 2021! I didn't even need a menu. My kid is strange and got French Toast Sticks off of the Brunch Menu. I will say they looked great and came with a bad ass line up of dunking condiments. She ate almost all of it. She did also eat all of my sausage and Mac & Cheese too. C got the smoked chicken with Alabama White Sauce, added a sausage link, and had Brussel sprouts and deviled eggs with it. She fell in love with the white sauce at Big Bob Gibsons and seeks it out now. She loved it! She hates my BBQ quests most of the time but she even said we gotta come back here!! Win!! I got the sampler and loved all of it. ALL OF IT! Every bite was better than the last. It was all that I had hoped that it would be! It was like Texas, meets Memphis, and nothing could be better in my opinion. I loved his sauces, I loved his sides, I loved everything about this place! The only possible way that it could be better was if it were free. I cannot wait to return! '25 - 67/111
