I DoorDash two waffles and when I got them, they looked absolutely nothing like the picture that they advertise first of all they advertise a waffle that looks similar to a Belgian waffle as you can tell by the thickness of the waffle, however these waffles are very thin second of all these were not golden brown, but rather blonde and limp as you can see from the pictures even one of the waffles was torn. If I would have known that the huddle house had a 2.1 ratting in Yelp I wouldn't have never ordered waffles from this place! I will never order anything from the huddle house again and luckily I was able to get a full refund from DoorDash! Holy moly, this place is bad! Our party of 3 was given two different versions of the breakfast menu. Wouldn't you know it? Our daughter ordered something they no longer make...but it took the server 15 minutes to come back and tell us so. Why didn't she already know this? And why are they still handing out the outdated menus? After a loooong while, the server started bring items out one at a time. A pancake for our daughter, some eggs for me, a couple slices of toast for my husband that he didn't even order. Collectively, it took about 25 minutes to get the entirety of our order, which, as it turned out, wasn't even correct. By then it wasn't even worth asking her to fix things because who knows how long it might take. The server never offered or brought condiments and we had to hunt down cream and sugar for our coffee (which was full of grounds, by the way.) Some of this might be forgivable if the food was enjoyable, but no. Daughter reports that the pancake tasted like hamburger grease, and our bacon was either burned into charcoal or raw. It took over an hour to get half of our food and the other half came approximately 15 Minutes or more later. The food was very low quality. The hash browns tasted like they were made from dehydrated potatoes and the fruit in the fruit side was slimy; the food was not fresh. I wish that I could say that the service was good but it was also very poor. Staff seemed to be working hard but there weren't enough of them and/or there lacked organization to their serving system/job responsibilities.
