From the cooks to the wait staff, each one has welcomed me nicely and I eat out quite a bit and have really grown to appreciate their Good Service. First time at a huddle house, we came in before 10am. We both got the MVP meal and it was soooo much food and it was really affordable. I upgraded to a strawberry cream pancake, which I was most excited for but was actually the biggest disappointment in the meal because it tasted like dirty grill, like they grilled the meat and pancakes in the same spot. It's really difficult to rate this place. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. Sometimes the service is great, sometimes it's garbage. Have attempted to go for three Sundays in a row. The first two times at 12 noon, the grill was "being cleaned" and there was an hour wait. Who cleans a grill at 12 noon on a Sunday? This last instance, we walked in to 5-6 empty tables, the cracked out waitress made sure to greet us with a rude "theres going to be a 50 minute wait on food" when asked why she gave some snide remark about being busy. The place is disgusting and the workers match it. The only thing that would fix this place is a total loss fire and a Waffle House to replace it. read more

Before you say anything....I know....I should not expect much, right? To be fair, I was not expecting fine china, candle lights, and a maître d. I do expect service...you know just basic service. I expect to not be repulsed by watching the employees sliding around on a greasy floor covered in food. I expect not to watch employees cleaning equipment over cooking food. This was the nastiest and most unsanitary Huddle House I've ever been to. I'm not expecting gourmet cuisine off of a huddle house grill but what I saw was absolutely unacceptable and deplorable. I'm from Georgia and I was shocked by how much different this huddle house in Kentucky was. I saw the cooks (yes both of them) handling raw food, then cooked food then grabbing plates to put cooked food on after handling raw food. NO GLOVES AND NO HAND WASHING! I asked the server if anyone had ever gotten sick after eating there. She said no. I don't see how cross contamination hasn't caused any of their customers to get sick. After I spoke with her quietly and calmly, because I wasn't trying to embarrass anyone or cause a scene, she asked them to use gloves. One cook did, the other mumbled something and proceeded to grab more raw food with his bare hands. This is the same guy that was just touching biscuits with his NASTY hands to see if they were warm. Ate at the Huddle House in cambellsville ky I'm 60 years old ate at so many restaurants all over in my life but I will have to tell you this one was by far the worst one ever! Came in with 3 tables waiting for there food so figured it would be quick. I was with 3 other friends so we were the 4th table. Ordered simple small meals that took over an hour to get. There were 4 waitress and a cook so were not short of help for the amount of people. The food was the worst I have ever eaten anywhere just disgusting the omelet was greasy and floating in grease oh my god. After eating and waiting another 10 min to get a bill we finally got to go. Of course I had to too the restroom wish I had done that before I ate because it was the worst ever. My shoes stuck to the floor, smelled very bad and not sure what was all over the walls but was worried if I was going to get sick on my way home from contamination. Please do not go there. Not the best to eat at at 2:30am the cooks and waiter's simply don't care that you are in the restaurant trying to enjoy your food such as ours were cussing with other customers talking load and having a pow-wow time while playing music not suitable for the public and simply not giving a flip about how the restaurant looks. Breakfast great! Bacon and eggs plus waffle ! Everything served right off the griddle so nice and warm. Only complaint is salt and pepper shakers need to be replaced with ones with bigger holes. Might want to put rice in salt as humidity causes it to block holes. read more

I would not recommend eating here at all if you are visiting Campbellsville. My husband and I use to go here every weekend just for the hasbrowns with onions and cheese, loved them. Amazon employees use to flock here after getting off work early in the morning. Gone are those days. The hasbrowns are now disgusting. They have been changed from what they originally started with when they opened. They are raw on the inside, all clumped together in a sticky gagging nightmare. Amazon employees no longer fill up the place, they now go to Druthers, where the food is much better. I will never go there again. We tried the hasbrowns there three times to see if maybe they had went back to the original ones, but sadly no. read more

BLUF: Poor and inefficient service from the cooks! Our waitress was very competent, wrote none of our orders down yet repeated them back with 100% accuracy. Portions came out smaller than what I'm used to at a typical HH / WH diner and our dishes lacked flavor other than butter. We could over hear the cooks saying they had a bowl of left over chili still sitting in the microwave that they wanted to serve my grandfather! I don't know how fresh the bowl of chili was that he received but he almost threw it at them because it was ice cold...we also heard the waitress arguing with the cooks about them not preparing all of our order. The cooks lacked direction, discipline and care. If you're visiting Campbellsville and want breakfast...do yourself a favor and cook it yourself before you buy it here. read more
