The pharmacy was great both over the phone and in person to pick up prescriptions. The transfer was great and filled within a few days. These days to talk to a human resource is incredibly hard. They actually answer the phone here. They take real calls. It's incredible! The store is sometimes well stocked. The over turning of individuals that work here is a constant reminder and struggle. They have some real good individuals working here now. The area has a lot of crime . This local is 5 blocks from the water front of the Ohio River in downtown Jeffersonville. Downtown area's not so good here. In the area they have rehab for people with drug addiction. It spills over in this area. All in all the basics can be found here. The pharmacy is a great resource. Even with the area issues it does not reflect the store and atmosphere when you visit. The other issues are outside. We can only change the world one miracle at a time. Finally, if this Walgreens gets closed in the Corporate cutbacks, I have no idea what I would do (the anxiety of finding a new pharmacy is very stressful). Now coffee it's a necessity for this girl. The coffee bar they have put together here will leave you breathless. They have all sorts of coffee. They have hot and cold brews.
