Spent close to an hour trying to speak to the pharmacy. Hung up on twice, called back and tried to speak to the manager. First time, the manager said she would transfer me then again hung up. Second time, the employee paged the manager and never picked up. Third time, same, the employee paged the manager, and never picked up. The customer service at this location is horrible. They should either fire all the managers and start over or close this location, because they clearly can run a business. read more

The pharmacy here is staffed with the most brain dead group of lumbering jackasses that masquerade as pharmacists. Previous to the month of October, they weren't so bad. But as of Oct. 2025, they don't understand how to properly fill a prescription or how to read a calendar. My experience has been nothing but failed communication and illiteracy. They have taught me that pharmacists do not have to take the Hippocratic Oath, for they have no sort of critical thinking in the building. Per the "head pharmacist" they are not allowed to refill a prescription on the same day as it expires. Their lack of knowledge of the Gregorian calendar leads them to believe that same-day is early. Any time I have been inside the store, it has been organized and well-stocked. The front desk and standard Walgreens employee have been helpful and kind. The pharmacy however, has been stocked with mindless drones that do not understand the basic human experience and are about as useful as the pope's testicles. Or a 300lb horse jockey. And they provide as much help as a paper spork, Reddit awards, and male nipples. In fact, I would rather have a conversation with famed and disgraced televangelist Billy Henn than try to receive help from any of the members of the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens. Their best advice was telling me to use a different pharmacy. It was the only logical sentence that was spoken to me during our conversation. I was on hold multiple times attempting to speak to someone, only to be met with a pickup and immediate hang up. These pharmacists actively work against their client base. I wouldn't dare call myself a patient bc at that point I might as well call myself a willing participant in the most useless game show a la The Apprentice, of retail pharmacy. The bar of being a pharmacist at this Walgreens must be so low that I could sponsor a McNugget and it may very well beat out the competition of the current staff. (As of October 2025) . All of September was perfect. They ordered and filled the my Rx on time and had no problem. However as of October, someone was hired that contains less of a brain than a head of lettuce. It is a distressing signal that there are people out there that control the medications of others but cannot be bothered to have a thought of their own. What a shame. Edit for context: both my insurance and medical provider approved a refill for today (10/27/25) yet these dumb kids claim that the refill is "early". The pharmacists have no ability to comprehend or understand the task they have been hired to do. They are middlemen that cannot complete a simple task. read more

I've only been here a few times, they won't take Anthem medicaid insurance so I have to pay cash cuz other pharmacy only carrys 1 pharmaceutical brand of my med that caused me severe side effects so only Walgreens carries what works for me. So I go to pay for my med & the Pharmacist on night shift who has an accent had the nerve to ask why I'm picking up my prescribed pain medication. So I asked him why he needs to know why my dr prescribed it, he claimed it's for a code. Yea ok, I'm not only a patient but also work in healthcare & know what's what. If I could get negative 5 I would. I've had so many issues with this place. Wasted hours of my life waiting on the phone to fix issues. A complete Mickey Mouse operation. Needs new management yesterday. I've tried to simply the 30 minute wait time for my grandparents meds to have auto refilled with free delivery. However this Walgreens fails again. I had a med auto refilled for soonest available which was 10/30/22. The meds ran out an needed to be in hand by November 3rd. The tracking says the med will be delivered on November 5th and it's coming from halfway across the country. The only way to get the med on time was to have it filled and private pay without insurance being ran. Says there is no way to prevent this from happening in the future without picking up in store . Made an appointment at noon today 11/4/23 for one twin for ear pain, but they didn't have another appointment until that evening. I arrived early thinking they would be able to see the other twin for the same thing as a walk in since this is a walk in clinic also. I was told no. I could come back later with the other child or take both children to another place. I kept the one appointment so I could get her antibiotics for her ear infection. What really hurt the most was when her twin was done & she got on the table & said my ear hurts bad & the lady said I can't look at you! How can you tell a 7 year old this, especially knowing her twin has an ear infection. We walked out at 12:15 & there was not a single person waiting to be seen next!!! I will post my review on other sites along with a call to customer service number to let them know of the service & then when I get my survey. read more

If I could leave a negative star review or no star review I would. Their pharmacy is NEVER on time, they continue to say it's a doctor issue, however when I contact my doctor or insurance they say it's Walgreens. Had them on the phone and finally the pharmacy was like "yeah, I'm not sure why it's delayed." I have stage three hypertension and waited 4 weeks to get my prescription after calling them and my doctor and my insurance. Walgreens NEVER called me or told me there were delays or issues and would not do an emergent release of even a few pills to get me through the time it would take for them to fill the prescription (it's not a controlled substance it's Blood pressure medication). They refused to take responsibility for the issue which is what left a bad impression. The only positive was that the pharmacy tech lady was nice and not rude like before when I've been in there (I've been in a few times to get OTC medications and the staff usually isn't the nicest). I never had this issue with Walgreens at the location I used before moving here to Jeffersonville. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

I was put on hold 5 times when calling the pharmacy without being asked, just thanks for calling the pharmacy, please hold and it was a revolving hold in which I needed to get specific information about my already picked up prescription. Would give negative stars if possible. This location has become a joke. The female pharmacist on duty tonight (10/20) is incredibly rude, inconsiderate and lacks all signs of compassion. I understand that Walgreens, like all companies, are short staffed, but there has to be a better way to handle the pharmacy staffing. My doctors office called in a prescription 3 hours before the posted closing time and being told that it won't be ready until tomorrow because it's not a narcotic, and therefore, not a priority is completely unacceptable! I had my prescription transferred to a different company, which it probably won't be done while that sloth is working. I will never return. read more

She was pretty busy, but didn't seem upset to show me where I could find this particular product and it was cute that she lowered her voice when she was telling me it was in the feminine hygiene aisle. Manager is incompetent, scheduled a covid test at 8am for 2pm when I showed up he said they're not giving tests out because they're short staffed. I understand the staffing shortage what I don't understand is confirming someone's appointment for them to waste their day thinking they have an appointment when they don't. This store is my closest one and often go there. I like their minute clinic, easy to make appointments and fast to check in. For other products, they have less selection than ride aid but they have nice customer service! Women work there are always kind! read more

After having a few bad experiences with the Walgreens on Spring Street I started driving a little further out of my way to go to this Walgreens. I've found that the pharmacy staff on Holmans are extremely helpful with everything from questions about prescriptions to sorting through insurance barriers. Their drive through is also remarkably fast and efficient. I love the take care clinic too, but that is a different review! read more
