Very cool brewery right in the heart of Thomasville. Visited specially because of a private family event and can't recommend them enough- staff was quick and efficient in serving food and drinks, and even with 30+ people in attendance we never were lacking. The public space is fairly large, with outdoor seating for any spillover, but I found the space for the bands to play was too close to where you'd sit and eat and made the noise pretty deafening. Sadly the bike half of the place was closed, but just from peering in they had a wide variety of cycles for sale and worth a check out if you have any interest in that hobby. My husband and I came here during St. Patty's Day, only three weeks after their opening. They have a good selection of IPA's, wines, and even have mimosas. If you aren't sure what to get, they will give you a shot size sample. I tried the hard cider first, which tastes closer to champagne than a cider beer. Next I drank the 50/50 Radler IPA that was stronger, but didn't have a terribly strong after taste. We are from Tx and on way down to The Keys met a couple in Tallahassee that recommended Thomasville, Ga. On our way back to Tx we decided to make it part of our trip home. We could not be more pleased with this historic town and thanks to https://thomasvillega.com/ we found Hubs and Hops. This brewery is the epitome of hospitality. They offered to change one of the tv channels so we could watch the Astros in the playoffs and offered recommendations for the menu as well as checking us very often to make sure all was good. They have a great on tap selection as well as a large bottle/can menu. They also have a pleasing wine menu for the non beer drinker. The food is bar menu food but exceptional. The TK chicken sandwich is spot on if you like it spicy and the grilled cheese sandwich with bacon is delicious. I need more than 1 night in this precious town. Thank you Hubs and Hops! read more

Hubs and Hops is my favorite bar in town! There are plenty of great restaurants downtown Thomasville, but this is one of the few real bars. It connects to the bike shop next door which is cool for those who like biking. I believe they do group rides during the week which is cool. The bar itself is great. They serve a great selection of beer, wine and ciders. They also have games that you can play while you hang out. The staff is super amazing and always really attentive and welcoming. If you're in town, I highly recommend stopping here for a drink! read more

I had heard about them last year and have been following them for ages on social media, so I was so happy to finally get the chance to visit with friends on a recent trip to Thomasville. Hubs & Hops is a dual bike shop and craft beer bar, so you have a doubly good reason to come in! Whether you just want to grab a beer and sit out on the patio or join the team on one of their Saturday morning rides on the local clay trails, the place is a hit for me. My mountain bike has been gathering a bit too much dust after getting out of grad school and spending too much time working, so this may be just the excuse I need to get back in the saddle again. I like a trail that is both fun and full of charm and everything about the trails around Thomasville fit this bill. Then, when you're done, you get to grab a tasty pint! This is a cute small bar that also doubles as a bicycle store. It was a strange combo to me, but with how close the downtown area is it makes sense that there would be a store that services bikes in town. That being said, we came for the bar and we succeeded in trying some of their beers and ciders on tap. I love that you get many 16oz pour options for about $6. I got a few original sin blackberry ciders for that size and price right before a concert in town. The interior of the bar is modern, prices are fair and their small bit decent selection offers much to all types of palates. This bike shop is amazing. My buddy and I took his Santa Cruz Hightower there on desperation because he was having some issues The shop threw it right up on the stand and cruised through all the issues right then and there. It's so great to see such amazing customer service even when the bike wasn't purchased there. My buddy can now race with confidence and take his bike to Germany with confidence thanks to these professionals. I would suggest this shop to a cyclist at any level any discipline. Great beer and great atmosphere! I have to say, I was a little hesitant at first when a friend suggested going to a bicycle bar because that sounds a bit strange but I was happily surprised upon walking in. The bar had a very inviting feel and the porch area outback was perfect. I spent most of our time there on the porch so I can't comment too much on the inside.
