Very slow service. Sandwiches main entree. Not busy and very difficult to get waitress. Very disappointing! Go for view but that is it!

This is the most overpriced place in the state. Food quality has slowly declined since opening and I refuse to go back.

When we could find no place to go we stumbled upon what my father still calls "heaven." The plantation is aptly named.

One of the finest & most expensive hotels in Thomasville, Georgia. Conveniently located in downtown…read moreand a walk away from churches, restaurants, shops, and attractions. It was close to all the places we needed to go in Thomasville. I loved the new furnishings and the spacious ambience of the hotel. At $110 a night, it is on the pricey side. We stayed two nights. We liked how impressive and clean our room was upon entering. The sensor light in the large mirror at the entrance was a nice touch. The bathroom shower was modern and the long shower there was a relief. There were very few to no concerns. I looked in the closet to use a spare throw blanket. I found spare bed sheets and a pillow with a blood spot. They have a Keurig coffee machine and coffee inside the room, a fridge, and microwave are free amenities inside the room, yet there is no free breakfast and coffee downstairs. They do have a small Shoppette to buy necessities and bistro to buy meals & drinks in the lobby. Two large hot coffees in the lobby cost us $18. The menu looked good yet expensive as well. We opted eating the snacks & food we had on us and buying a quick ready meal from Publix. If you want to stay a walk away from certain places and attractions in downtown, this hotel is very ideal & convenient.

This place screams luxury. Parking is awkward but the rooms are spacious and comfy. Extra seating…read moreand space. Small fridge did the job. Water pressure and temp was perfect. Bed perfect. Eating available downstairs and coffee costs but handy. Nearby most of your travel needs.

The room was adequate, but the service was minimal and very rude. I'm getting up in years and…read moresometimes find myself in urgent need of a bathroom. I was in that situation when we arrived and I told Pam at the front desk we were there to check in on our reservation, but I really needed a bathroom first. She very rudely said they don't have a public bathroom and I'd have to go to the gas station next door. I told her I didn't think I could make it that far and she just shrugged her shoulders. After checking in and barely making it to the room (where the toilet seat was loose and seemed ready to fall off), we discovered that the coffee pot still had the grounds in it from whoever used it last. As we went out to find a place to eat I stopped in and mentioned it to Pam and got no reply, she just looked at me. When we returned to the room two hours later nobody had been there to empty the grounds, Not a big deal, but that lack of attention of detail makes me wonder about how through the other cleaning is. We had planned to stay a second day and explore Thomasville a bit, but instead cancelled the second day and left the next morning. When I stopped to drop off the room keycard there were customers in the office for the "breakfast" but no employees. One woman said she had been there fifteen minutes and not seen anyone from the staff. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
