PF is finally open in Norton renovated with all the brand new equipment. This is probably the most…read moreclean and sleek PF location that i have ever been to. However, just like any other PF there are some shortcomings so lets get down to the nitty-gritty. Cons- 1) There were about 25 machines of cardio in each row and one has to walk to either corner to grab a tissue to wipe down the machines. Now the human nature would find every reason to avoid wiping down the machines especially after an intense cardio. This could have been easily overcome by adding more sprays and wipes somewhere in the middle. 2) For such a modern PF location the weight area was a little let-down. There is only one section of weights in a comparatively smaller area. I could only imagine this section been packed during the peak hours. Pros- 1) Every cardio machine comes with an entertainment that could be controlled irrespective of the overhead TV which is very cool. Thats definitely an upgrade compared to other locations. 2) This PF location is open 24*7 and is probably the first of its kind in this area. Although i am a Black card member with PF for a while now and have been to many PF locations this one stands out the best with a very few shortcomings.

New to the area and decided to get a workout in. I came from work so I needed to purchase a locker…read morelock from the front desk. Unfortunately the lock I purchased was broken. So I waited about 20 minutes for the front desk attendant to come back so I could get a refund. When he came back he told me he didn't know how to refund my purchase. It was a $6 cash transaction. I suggested voiding the purchase because it was damaged. It took a little bit to figure out but it was refunded. Today I came in for my workout. I asked to use the hydro massage bed And the same employee said okay. But then he told me they're all out of service. I asked him what the issue was and he told me they're old and never work. However, I used it two days ago with no issue. I'm guessing he didn't want to wipe it down since they were closing at 7pm and it was 6:20. I don't give negative reviews often. But this crew might need some constructive criticism.

I'm not sure if it's generational issue or not but it's definitely a gym issue. The amount of…read morepeople recording the gym is excessive and overwhelming. It is posted to "not record" but apparently people don't care. True story I was doing curls in the mirror and two bros came up next to me, one on each side. They started to tape one another as well as myself because I was sandwiched between them. After one bro was done with his set he requested to view the video from the other bro. " dude you didn't get my traps at the peak, you gotta get them at the peak". This kind of behavior is invasive to anyone who doesn't want to be video taped. The equipment is top notch. Best around in my opinion, but it's so squished together that smashing your knees and elbows into equipment is a common theme. More importantly the bathroom doors have been broken in the men's for for years. Come on guys, it's an easy fix. The staff is super friendly and the place is clean. Lastly, the snow removal is a joke. Shovel a path into the gym from the side lot, it only takes a few minutes.

Buyer beware: I purchased what we thought was a family plan, at least that is how it was…read moreadvertised. However, what we learned is there were no benefits to adding family members to the current membership. The price is the same, each family member pays the same price for gym maintenance, so no break there. Each family member is bound by their own separate contract, so no transferring benefits among family members. Lastly, if one of the family members needs to cancel their contract, you have to buy out the remaining contract and it can not be transferred to another family member without a fee. Ultimately, do not get fooled, there is NO benefit to adding a family member. Norton Mgr. Tyler is not helpful or customer oriented. BTW - we pay an annual fee for maintenance and on any given day there are at least 5-6 machines out of service.
