Umami with the contrast of the sweet corn. Would def recc. Dim sum combo platter. Came with a variety of dumplings. It was unfortunately the least favorite item. Could be a different type of region or style of dumplings that I ma not used to, but did not love the taste overall. The wrapper was very thick and flavor was a little bland. Flat Rice noodles: Delicious. Big portion, flavorful, came with lots of protein and veggies. No complaints whatsoever. Forgot the name of it, but the serevr said it was one of the most popular dishes they have. Some sort of beef dish that our server said was North Chinese style. Flavorful, a bit saltier then would like, but not an issue once you pair with rice. Just note that tap water is 2 franks per cup. Overall would definitely come back if I was ever in the area.

There are lots of similarities in the offering vs Ach'i (to keep this simple pls look at my review for Ach'i), but then I'd say that this menu, unlike Ach'i, sticks to mainly the authentic Chinese food dishes (Northern inspired). Also there are a few dishes that they offer here that I don't see on the Ach'i menu, like the spicy noodle soup with minced beef that was suggested and it turned out to be pretty good. Quite spicy so if you have a sensitive stomach, save it for something else! Also the menu is a bit hard to follow here, haven't really figured out the classification system to efficiently find things (I.e. where's the fried noodles section? Where's the soup noodles section? Where's the stir fry section?). That was a bit annoying vs at Achi I felt I could find things easier. Prob also at Ach'i the menu had photos and this place being more upscale style, doesn't showcase photos of food. The decor here is also a bit more risque than Ach'i. I'd like to say it's more upscale than Ach'i, while a bit meeting borderline kitschy. Last time I was here, they have the best servers from Ach'i now working here, so I guess this is a place they are investing their best resources at.

I didn't go to this restaurant but found them on Ubereats, surprisingly found couple of items that either not available in Dallas or taste better. Achar which is a Malaysian type of salad, is so tasty here, something I highly recommended. We ordered a fried rice dish and a noodle dish. From the first bite of the fried rice, I could taste how much MSG they put into their cooking. Throughout the rest of the dish, I found two pretty big chunks of unmelted MSG. Food quality was okay, nothing impressive. Maybe is because I am used to the NYC Chinese food quality. The dish portions are small and contain a lot less ingredients from what we usually get back in the States.

This happened to be the first Thai place we encountered while out on a walk, and it was just what we needed. I had the chicken satay, and it was excellent. Just the right amount of heat, and very flavorful. The mango ice tea was more mango than tea, very refreshing. Service was very good, even with a little bit of a language barrier. Sit outside if the weather permits it! We had a little table surrounded by pretty hanging lights, perfect for a relaxing evening.
