Came here for dinner on a DeinDeal voucher for two recently and had a good experience. The restaurant is a typical mid-end Chinese joint with standard Cantonese style cuisine. The house specialty is Chinese hot-pot (fondue Chinoise). My partner and I had the Szechuan soup, shrimp dumplings, vegetable spring roll, sweet and sour chicken, and beef in black bean sauce. Taste is authentic for sure, my only "beef" was with the beef, which was over tenderized and not of high quality meat. The restaurant also carries Mövenpick ice cream selections, which is a nice little bonus if you're a Mövenpick fan like myself.
The server is friendly and accommodating. We received our orders in a reasonable amount of time with several other tables of patrons.
Typical of Chinese restaurants there's a large flat screen with Chinese karaoke music videos playing in very low volume. Old-school artists as Teresa Deng and Jacky Cheng plays on loop in the background. Made me feel very nostalgic.
I will probably come back to this restaurant again to try the hotpot, and to listen to those 80's Chinese songs with my meal. :) read more
