They have three ATMs and a few people trying to sell stuff as you walk by, but that's it. If you want a cashier you have to go all the way up Wote Street. And that's quite a hill. It is, however, in a good location for an ATM - slap in the middle of Festival Place.

Staff know lots about savings/current accounts and it is great to pop in for these services although when trying to get more details on financial products it was a little harder and they advised me to book an appointment to see whoever specialises in this department. Easy to find or get to from the centre of Reading. Nice branch for day to day banking, and for greater financial products when you make an appointment.

There are two ATM's outside (no fees for withdrawals!) and more inside as well as full teller services upstairs and banking associates downstairs. Some sort of BBC "headline news" with captions is running on multiple screens, so there's some entertainment while waiting. Opening my account took about 30 minutes, possibly delayed due to my being an American and not having any other banking in the UK. Within a couple of days, I got bombarded by mailed paperwork, explanations, fee schedules and all sorts of crap that I need to read through and decide if it needs to be kept. I didn't take a picture as I am sure someone would have thought I was casing the place for a later robbery. (Which I was not, you peanut gallery commenters!)
