O this visit, we went in just to browse with little intent to buy. But we found a perfect memento of this trip, something we actually needed, a new wall clock for my husband's study. It has a topographic map of Woods Hole as the background clock face and has a frame of copper. It was not terribly expensive but is a novelty for our home and seems to be working well. The staff was incredibly informative about current goods from an artist we have bought in the past. There was some very pretty natural themed jewelry that in the past I probably would have purchased but probably do not have a real need now. I did pick up some note cards by a local artist as those are always useful. When we return to Woods Hole in the future we will undoubtedly return to this shop. We always do.

One of the staff members was very informative about some of the products here, and so friendly. Didn't quite love the front end customer service during my visit, which is unfortunate (and hopefully just a bad day) it seemed like our business was unwelcome in a way of weird looks and condescending tone. I Bought a wampum ring that wasn't even put on my finger and the wampum fell right out of it. The clerk said my finger was too big for the ring. I tried to explain that I did not wear it because it wasn't for me. I didn't even make it two feet out of the doorway when it happened. She just dismissed me/talked over me. I had asked for a refund because she did not offer me one initially, she just took the ring from me to investigate it. She didn't seem too keen on letting me swap it out for another, and honestly I was uncomfortable and just ready to get out of there so I just took the refund.
